LOL Avanti, cos I want to be delayed all the time. Joking aside I'd love more stuff like the WCML or the North Wales Coast Line to Holyhead.

I would venture to suggest that all DLС announced in the roadmap will be announced and released before the new year.

Hey! What's wrong with Queen Street to Edinburgh?! That's one of my favourite routes. I'd love to see a class 385. It sounds likely especially since they hinted at making a Class 385

Nothing wrong with the route, just prefer the diesel era - preferably push pull 27's or 47's though would take a decently done 158 (which probably rules out Rivet!!).

I don't know what I'm looking for here - is there something hidden or is it just the bear?

The new route is the Birmingham Cross City line. The achievements were leaked on steam. End of speculation :)

Hopefully we'll get it in 2-3 weeks? Definitely hyped for this. Hopefully they'll be some depot moves, maybe even an extra bit of network? But I doubt it for the later. Hopefully some updated speed signs with the correct font this time?

What about a class 126 in the Sc79xxx series pre 1972? That would cause a storm of resentment that is for sure!

The depot is on the New Street to Wolverhampton line at Soho. It would be nice if it was included but being DTG they don't often add many divergences away from the main route. I am sure the TSC version does't contain it.

I would take anything up to 1994 with 1990 to 1994 bottom of the list, anything after is another 1 handled snoozefest...

Well I suspect this is going to be a DTG route not a Rivet route as DTG have recently made it for TSC. I would be happy to be proved wrong however.

Would absolutely take that. Route needs more than the 323 to feel alive.

LOL as would the Bubble Car.

One thing you could not do with a pre 1990's train coming into the station is snooze unlike todays modern stuff. There were Boys in 1980's (even more popular in the decades before) still being excited by trains and were there on the platform checking off their numbers. I would think that is very rare today.

You would also have a white knuckle ride down the bank through Queen Street Tunnel and pray the brake blocks on the loco weren't reminiscent of razor blades!

I always think of those passengers getting on the Tube going to Moorgate after that disaster, surely you must have felt some relief when you got safely there.

Memory is hazy now, but I'm almost certain when I first did the West Highland in 1978 via the overnight from Euston, the portion with the sleepers and two day coaches was propelled down the bank from Cowlairs into Queen Street to go on top of the internal Scottish stock forming the other portion, which detached at Fort William and went onto Mallaig. That must be correct as the sleeping cars were on the front heading out of Queen Street.

Scary stuff Train crashes. And to think the opening of the first Inter-City route had a death on it.

Happy to get out of london. The times we get 2 or even 3 new trains for a dlc are probably over. But im totally fine to get additional stock with loco dlcs.
Maybe they include some new freight wagons.

Still dont get so many people wanted to have something away from the south, now they still seem to be unhappy.., only one new train..., audio concerns etc, ...
Just wait until the route is out.

In my opinion very nice to get the 323, and a totally new ac route. Day one purchais for me.

Class 323 really looking forward to it. the sounds in real life are especially distinctive from other trains. Therefore, it would be a shame if the sounds were to go in the direction of Train Simulator classic.
Own opinion of course. in the mines it would make no difference to the class 465 without the proper sound. please not like with the, DB BR 187 reused from the BR 185.2
A correct / complete engine noise . Then i be as happy as anything, audio with quality.
Only that class would be 56 or 50 if they joined TSW.
In general I am very satisfied with the game and the attention to what it simulates. Just the engine noises of specific trains don't balance the rest of the game.

So, I'm not too familiar with the route or the loco. Apart from what it says in the DTG announcement, what are the exciting points about this route. If JD asks Matt "Why did you choose this route?", what is he likely to say? Thanks.

We got some of the WCML in SoS!

This is another commuter route by the look of it. Does the loco have something different about it compared to similar ones for other UK commuter routes?

As dosto762 said, maybe we can use the Class 66 with it.

That didnt count as in many eyes its not in the years 2000 onwards and doesnt feature Traction with one handle and had more than one type of train with it....

I would expect that he might reference how the 323's are popular with UK railfans due to the bizarre noise they make, and how this will be the first Midlands route for TSW. But DTG Matt is here so he can speak for himself ;)

Probably now put the hope on the Rivet Games one to have the new generation UK train / route, still waiting this to buy the TSW3

If they need to do it correctly it should have been something like this Class 60 lower hp than a class 66 but gains Tractive force Enough to make Lickey Incline unassisted. From Lickey Incline Video 2010-2021 the class 60 with TEA Tanker did go up Lickey Incline unassisted.

Passenger Class 323 freight class 60

Im glad to see a Midlands route, it is a nice break from London routes. Though I am curious what the DLC for this route will be, i am gonna guess either a Class 172 or 730 when they enter service

Why make it? Sounds like a good question to throw at me on a stream :)

Short answer - lots and lots of people asked for it.
