The Bombardier Horizon Passenger Car is a single-level model rail car that was built for Amtrak from 1988-1990. The Horizon is based on Bombardier's Comet Series of passengers cars that is currently used by several commuter rail agencies, specifically the Comet II. The Horizons began revenue service on Amtrak in April 1989. The Horizon cars are primary used on Amtrak's Midwestern Corridor trains which are based out of Chicago, Illinois. The trains are the Carl Sandburg, Illini, Illinois Zephyr, Lincoln Service, Saluki, Blue Water, Wolverine, Hiawatha, Hoosier State, and the Missouri River Runner. Amtrak also several Horizon cars based in California which operate on the Pacific Surfliner. In addition, the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is currently leasing and has refurbished three "dinette cars" for use on the San Joaquin route which coincideds with the purchase and refurbishment of 14 Comet IB cars from New Jersey Transit also used on the San Joaquin. A total of 104 Horizon cars were manufactured and come in two main configurations, Coach and Food Service Cars. Amtrak currently has 77 coach cars numbering 54000, 54500-54584 and 12 Food Service cars numbering 53505, 53511, 58000, 58002, 58004, 58006, 58007, 58103, 58104, and 58106-58108. Caltrans's cars are numbered 53501, 53509, and 53510. [IMG] Horizon #54000 in Amtrak service on the Pacific Surfliner, credit goes to Geno Dailey. We need the Amtrak Horizon coaches already! Heck, I wish G-Trax included them with The Racetrack!

    Maybe as a separate add-on.

Having the model of a no-center-door Bombardier coach would go a long way towards filling out realistic consists in the Northeast. The same model for the Horizon would be usable for the MNRR and NJT Comet II [for MNRR it would probably need to be limited to the trailers which have no name, 6134-6149]. Perhaps sell Amtrak/MNRR/NJT as a set (like the GP-40 pack)?
3rd party repaints could do SEPTA and MBTA.

I myself would love to see the Horizon cars come out for TS2019 in the future as then I can add them to an AI Amtrak train on the Pacific Surfliner route. I have only even seen them at San Juan Capistrano on a YouTube video.
