This is a classic example of "my problem is the most important problem". Personally I could not care less whether the sounds are ever improved, they are plenty good enough for me as is. And I strongly suspect this is the case for >95% of players (the complaints here are not at all representative).

Neither is yours. Yours is just a post to troll those that believe accurate sounds are important to immersion.
Your 95% is that accurate or just a wild guess?

This is not some ancient text based game, supposed to be state of the art simulation.
Imagine the outcry from MSFS customers if vital aircraft sounds were missing from the game.
With Birmingham Cross City we are getting another route which runs through extensive tunnels and steep sided brick cuttings, yet there will be no reverb just a dead flat sound field.

Fired up TSW3 this morning it has been a while, I tried the MRCE 182 and where is the bogie run sound? Silent going over pointwork?
What I don't get DtG audio team is why your third-party partners can do it but you seem incapable.
Mike's products give good bogie run sounds but yours can't? Why?

I didn't even get through a third of the scenario, turned it off, and went back to TSC.

Rivet sounds aren't great for certain trains. 38 stock, 150. Skyhook with cc and the gevo (sounded like gevo, but could have used some improvements). Only tsg really has high quality sounds

Yeah, but can you still hear the pointwork?
