Hi! When TSW3 hit it is more memory optimized than 2. We got a sick dense time table with loads and loads of trains and passengers on the Bakerloo line. There are trains everywhere even on my Xbox one x now. Almost double the services, so if an Xbox one x can handle that and London commuter, why can’t i have the class 166es at Reigate? Would that really be a worse hit to the console performance? Also, is there a way to play cloud gaming if you already have the game installed? And why did they remove the touch option in cloud gaming that worked well with TSW2 in TSW3? Bring it back please!
Xbox one x simply does not have the memory to handle all the trains in bml. That's the simple explanation since I'm no dev but that's what dtg have said. Once you add in even one train as a layer, it takes up memory in the background, waiting to be loaded up or when it is in view, you're driving it, etc. And the xbox one x, simply cannot handle that and result in crashing. Same issue that affects ps4. You can have thousands of the same train which is why you can still run the ~1200 services with the 377 and 387 and it doesn't use up a ton of memory. But once you start adding more trains, even 1 (166, 375, 43, 313, 465), it causes your xbox one x to run out of memory and all you get is crashes. Remember the assets and all the other stuff on the screen, even those waiting to be loaded up takes up memory. Same reason why you can't have layers on hma. The xbox series x and s, pc, ps5 all have enough memory to handle all the trains in bml and hma.
