Nope. We only get 4th of July which is our independence day. That's the official day for those. The op was most likely talking about one of the scenarios where there are fireworks

But the important question is, are there also fireworks on a British route on July 4?

 

On the TSC Horseshoe Curve, when you completed the series of career scenarios, you are rewarded with a fireworks display.

 

This is probably the case with me, I had just bought the SD40 add on and this was at the end of the 3rd scenario so it was just a coincidence that I played it on 5th November
