Route: Leipzig - Riesa Train: DB BR 146.5 IC2. IC services are quite common on that line. Here is one for example.
A pair of Penn Central trains meet at Horseshoe curve on an autumn morning, sometime in the late 60's. A pair of PRR RS-11s that haven't seen the paint shop can be seen leading the TOFC freight on the right. Route: Horseshoe Curve Locomotives: EMD SD35, ALCO RS-11, EMD GP9
When all around is red and gold. An early autumnal morning freight run makes it's steady way to Koblenz. Loco:- DB BR181 Route:- Koblenz -Trier
Sadly the Autumn Krokodil Railtour from Villach to Salzburg had to be rescued after suffering a loss of motive power. On the upside it's not every day you get to be hauled by an ÖBB 1063, and the last surviving operational Krokodil Locos:- ÖBB 1063, ÖBB 1189 Route:- Karawankenbahn
A pair of GE Dash 8's lead a manifest train, on a cool October morning, from the S-Line onto the Salisbury Wye, en-route to Linwood Yard just pasted the old Spencer Yard. The C39-8s were the last US locomotive to be produced that were set up for Long Hood Forward Operations, as seen here. Route: Norfolk Southern N-Line Locomotive: GE C39-8
The Frankfurt - Koblenz Route has some lovely autumn colours. Here a DB BR 185.1 crosses the Südbrücke (South Bridge) at dusk towards Mainz.
From the scenario "Autumn Westbound" a GE 4/4ii RhB crosses the Hinterrhein just outside of Reichenau on the Surselva Line.
Autumn on Clinchfield Railroad - Elkhorn City to St Paul route with locos EMD SD45-2 CSXg with a oiltrain.
An ABe 8/12 Allegra EMU heads down the valley into Italy on the Bernina Line: Poschiavo - Tirano Route.

Congratulations on a terrific winning shot. It looked fantastic on the loading screen for 24hrs before being replaced with:- Chinese Sale, Flying Scotsman, Huddersfield Line adverts Really question why we all continue to offer contributions to this competition when DTG obviously want to use the loading screen space to bombard us with adverts for products we are already aware of.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
