Hi, Just wondering if anyone has any well known resources where I'd be able to do research on which stock runs on which routes on the German rail network? Flickr's been handy as well as a number of attempted google searches for a recent scenario between Koblenz and Frankfurt. But where I've been using DB's live timetable for timings, I find it a pain to see what stock would be running certain services on Regional Express and ICE so that I can use close as possible realistic AI that I would do for my UK based scenarios. I reckon it's the language barrier when searching so if anyone has any good resources or advice on the German Rail network for dummies , I'd appreciate it. Cheers Stevie (Get-Geeky)
This website is quite useful for train formations Use the 2021 page as the 2022 is not full updated https://www.vagonweb.cz/razeni/index.php?rok=2021
That's perfect, what a great site. Bookmarked and will definitely be using that to get some interesting consists together. Thanks very much.
If you use ThirdRails it will lead you to WagonWEB page, where compositions mostly for the fast trains are available, for example: So you immediately have both - timetable and composition. Plus of course all other stuff like live map and announcements.
Is it WagonWEB or VagonWEB? Did they spell it wrong on the app? That's actually funny. LOL If you are a dev, may want to fix that.
It is VagonWeb because the site is in the Czech language - which is the language on the green bit So I'm not sure why you think they should change it
https://www.bahnhof.de/bahnhof-en/aboutus/db_bahnhof_live-3732926 But that is a phone ap and only of use to look at one train at a time This is for station departures https://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/bhftafel.exe/en?country=DEU Having put in a station you get a current list of trains departing and you can click on the train number for more stops Like this https://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/bhftafel.exe/en?ld=43154&protocol=https:&rt=1&
Big list of timetables - although you'd have to zoom into the map and find places though http://kursbuch.bahn.de/hafas/kbview.exe/dn?rt=1&mainframe=IK_strecken Example (I just picked Karlsruhe for no reason ) http://kursbuch.bahn.de/hafas/kbvie...bleplus&controlpattern=F.&table_nr=702&orig=k
For no reason? What are you developing around Karlsruhe? Kidding, I know you can't say even if that were true.
Nope it was literally open a map of Germany and close my eyes and randomly point the finger at a spot (it was actually baden baden where it hit but close enough )
