On BCC in the scenario planner only platforms 8 and 12 are available at Birmingham New Street, meaning that even in player made scenarios New Street will be completely dead
Agreed, was expecting more, not all platforms but some, I think each terminus should have a platform at New Street e.g. Lichfield Trent Valley/City - Platform 8, Four Oaks - Platform 6 etc and Redditch - Platform 10 and Bromsgrove can keep 12, that way we can have more platforms to play with, please DTG!!!
In a player made scenario (comming from Reddish or Bromsgrove) when the train arrives close to the platform of Track 8 / New Street, it diverges over to the center track then then switches back over to Track 8 where only 2 cars can line up with the platform. The rest of the train is on the middle track. In my opinion that's a scenario killer for anything set up heading towards Litchfield. Other than that I really like this route and the Class 323. It's just a pity the scenario planner is so limited.
I set up a Technical Reports thread about P8 at BNS linked below, hopefully it is getting looked at as we speak, however if you start a custom scenario from New Street itself, the train correctly spawns in Platform 8, it's only coming from Redditch/Bromsgrove/Longbridge Wrong Pathing On Platform 8 At Birmingham New Street
