What happened? On US routes, NO, alternate liveries spawn any more on freight cars. Now, I've spent a lot of time in LD creating these, so that my trains and yards would have a realistic polyglot appearance- but now? All default uniformity! (And no real NA freight yard or train would be nicely matched up like this) Horseshoe Curve (I have SIX Bethgon liveries! All MIA.) Sand Patch- all vanilla default Sand Patch again- and coal hoppers ALWAYS used to spawn variations Cajon Pass. Again, all stock out t' box. And not one of WavyDavy's impressive collection of autoracks! Now, notice I said US routes? That's because the one exception to this livery wipeout is Oakville. What are the Canadians doing right? No, seriously, DTG need to figure out what is different about Oakville's livery-spawning subroutine, because it works... and none of the others do any more (except when it comes to plopping BNSF locos in Cumberland Yard)
Yep noticed this too. And you’re right …. Oakville does this absolutely beautifully. I hope they don’t ruin it with a “fix” to something else. But the other routes are not doing it at all. Very disappointing indeed. Again, I am on Xbox
Oakville does it fine cause it's the only route that still supports the freight car subbing for the manifest trains for that route. The only problem is that the route spawns the cars in all empty. Which is why IIRC is why DTG won't implement it on other routes.
