    Your time's nearly up people!

A new route is coming less than 8 weeks later.
We're all glad that DTG looked at your findings and implemented some 'bug' fixes.
    EDIT:
OK, a little slating here. Let's fix canals but NOT look back at a wall that blocks the flow of canel water.....you know, I can't be bothered....Oh....the philosophies of DTG.... :)

You can soon open a German Route bug-fix thread - after happily paying £29.99 of course.

Mate, I love your optimism, I really do!

When they literally leave a chunk of the route unfinished, even after ‘patching’ it, I think we have to be resigned to the fact that the second coming is more likely than them ever fixing that.

I think Matt is aware the clouds are making things brighter in some instance on the new lighting systems.

I would wince if I left something odd like that in a freeware route. Makes you wonder who is actually building these, let alone snagging and checking. Still at least it's not a bush growing out the track or the sunken PWay hut near Sittingbourne that still "decorate" SEHS!

    • Like Like x 1
  8. I was wondering about those huts on sehs you know. A few of them have been demolished by kids and all that's left is the roof laying beside the track. Maybe dtg were trying to copy that by sinking them in the ground?

It could be that, but it looks odd.

  10. Yea it does a bit. Especially when half the hut is sticking out of the ground. At the end of sittingbourne platforms, London bound there's a metal bridge, on tsw its a brick arch, a little further up the line there's a brick arch but in tsw it's the metal bridge!
You would have thought if they rebuilt sehs from the ground up like matt said, they would have corrected that mistake, considering the amount of times its been mentioned on the forum.

Have noted when running in snow, that the platforms remain clear while the snow accumulates everywhere else.

Some platforms are clear, some have snow on them. I kinda like that though, it's as if some staff have been out and gritted their stations.

I find it unlikely they will address any issues we have identified after the last limited patch tbh, especially with the new dlc Coming out. It is now time to accept what we have for BCC and enjoy it. I'm just going to close my eyes between Barnt Green and alvechurch haha!

You should not have to close your eyes with a $40 DLC !
I know this is business as usual here. Next DLC....and next DLC ..and TSW4....and next DLC...bugs, well on the list™

One of the many reasons I no longer buy full price DLC for this sim and wait for at least 50% off. I'm also watching the progress of Simrail very closely

    Hear, hear.

Everyone is praising up the new German route yet it has already been conceded it will release with several bugs. We know from past efforts, in particularly the high profile BML and SoS not to mention the broken Journey scenarios peppering other routes, that the faults just get laid aside. At £25 for a DLC it was bad enough, but charging £30 is simply not acceptable. If there are bugs known before release, then it should be postponed and there should be an open and honest approach to fixing issues that arise subsequently.

Isn't that one of playway s.a.'s questionable simulators?

Yes. Playway is the publisher. Simrail is the devs working on it and part of the game title.

Still a bug on the station PIS even with the latest update. The 22:02 service to Lichfield City is showing as blank....

I just decided to revisit Snowrunner and finish up the logging missions in Taymyr. To my surprise and delight, noticed Saber have added yet more maps as part of the very reasonably priced Season 2 pass. Now given the amount of detail and the deformable terrain I am sure it's no less complicated to build these maps and set up a mission structure than one of TSW's 30 mile £30 routes. Unlike TSW, Snowrunner also seems far less buggy.

Don't even go there, there was enough drama over season 7 only being one very tiny map, focusing entirely on racing... with two pointless vehicles that provide no use other than scouting.... but come to late in the game to be of any use.

Season 2 of Snowrunner has been an overwhelming disappointment, I can talk for days on this subject.

Snowrunner being less buggy? you've clearly never played it on multiplayer or release day then, some of those season launches were awful.
One of the new trucks launched without any of its attachments because of a bug and took 2 full weeks to eventually arrive.

  23. Yea I've done a bit of snowrunner over the last few months, and quite enjoyed a bit of farming. Unlike dtg you get access to the editor to make your own maps and looking at the process of both, I think snowrunner is probably the harder of the 2, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

It's not all been without problems but would seem the devs at sabre are a lot more prompt at fixing things.

  24. After the update the door Interlock indicator is permanently illuminated, regardless.

Update sometimes it's permanently blue and sometimes red?

For me it now never illuminates at all (which is better than before the update, when it was doing all sorts of weird stuff). It’s interesting how the game does different things for different people.

I tend to do single player so wasn't aware of the MP issues. Don't get me wrong, Snowrunner is not without faults, though most of those seem to be born out of gameplay frustration than bugs per se (like only having the one save slot which the game controls).

I would be eternally grateful if DTG addressed the problems with TSW in 2 weeks. Where are the fixes to all the broken scenarios which prevent Journey mode being completed in several instances? Some of those (like Chopper and Change) are now several years outstanding. Where are the fixes to Spirit of Steam, BML and (to stay on topic) the outstanding items on BCC? Sorry but I have to repeat my previous conclusion, once a product reaches its expected sales target it is cast aside despite all the nods and promises to the contrary.

However, Snowrunner seems far better value for money at times, compared to DTG's DLC now extracting £30 a time from their customers.

  27. Before the update it would illuminate for a couple of seconds as the doors close but now.. some journeys it's always red and others it's always blue. Weird that we all get different results.

  28. With dtg setting strict deadlines that don't even allow the devs to finish a route properly, I think it's about time they introduce strict deadlines for bug fixing. Especially now the price has gone up.

Kings Norton station. From the walkway gantry you cannot walk down onto the middle platform to collect the donkey.

Longbridge station heading towards Kings Norton I believe these are signs and should have a little more detail on them?

    Cynical head on...
They do have a bug fix deadline. If it's not fixed by release date it won't be

Unless I missed anything, there was no mention on last night's road map stream, of any further fixes for bcc?

Curiously, I started a service and the first AI train I saw, had working destination boards. But the rest didn't.

That’s part of my mod - just adds a bit of ‘realism’ to the route instead of it all looking picture perfect. The actual graffiti has no meaning to it.

Looking at it before reading what you've posted I thought the tracks are covered in fresh concrete, not snow. It's so perfectly flat.

Here's a very old one from the front page of the forums. ;)

" Find helpful recourses ( sic ) to get you started with Train Sim World. YouTube guides, community videos, "
    ( my emphasis )

Should be " resources " of course.

    Don't find the bears! ;-)
I found all the bears and now some of those cute bears are track-side and wearing high-visibility jackets. They look like red signals from afar!

Did anyone hear the Bug, when you have all Safety System enabled and you leave your Cab on foot, the D.V.D "Peeping" Sound follow you wherever you will go on foot in Game.

    And further more:
If your standing outside the train near to the Cab (Cab doors open) you here the Peeping Sound Twice (from the Cab inside and from that sounds that follows you)

This is the Only "huge" Bug thats really lowers the Fun on this Route for me. Yes CCL has much more Bugs, but its a overall a good Route.
