    It’s centre not center
Centre is a place of work or a place of education
Should be the British pronunciation as it’s existed longer and most people say centre

Bradley you speak sense and this is my biggest gripe with TSW at the minute because it really, really bugs me, well that and the stop in location which should be stop at location.

Centre or Center, it all means the same thing, just dependant on where you are from.

Sez you- a Briton. For Americans it's correct. Canadians- well, they can't make up their minds.

In point of fact, this is one of many cases where Americans have preserved the original, authentic usage, whereas the British spelling was invented in the 18th century - altering the spelling used by Shakespeare, Milton and the Bible - thanks to some fussy and pretentious pedants who wanted to Frenchify things in order to appear posh.

Ive still no idea why DTG decided to name it Training Centre/Center, knowing it would cause division (and if they didnt know, they should have).

Why didnt they call it something neutral like The Practice Line or The Training Zone. The English language has a big enough vocabulary to make it easy to avoid such contentious names.

I use this thread for this because it fits to the "spelling" discussion, although not in context of languages: Since the release of "Tharandter Rampe" I have been noticed that at the "Freital-Deuben-Station some station signs read "Freital-Dueben". Maybe ths can bei fixed at some point?

There's no point in getting fussy about spelling in the forum, either by players or mods. The " Getting Started " sub- forum introduction has had " helpful recourses " since it launched.

And the standard of spelling, punctuation and grammar on the forum by posters is appalling, to put it mildly.

It's time people started proofreading their posts before hitting the upload button.

( By, the way, Bradley, check your punctuation [ or lack of it ] above, and quit confusing grammar with spelling. ) ;)

**People whose first language is not English can be cut a little slack ( but only a little ). ;)

You are getting spelling and pronunciation mixed up. They are not the same thing.
Nope, not grammar either, just a spelling difference.

Already asked a DTG employee to lock the thread. Why can't people just like what they like. But no! They make controversy out of it.:mad::mad::mad:

    Its tomato not tomato
tomato is a fruit not a vegetable
tomato is a vegetable not a fruit

Im personally more concerned with bugs and LOVE, overpriced content than that of the misspelling of one or 2 words.
    But hey you do you
