Out Now Bahnstrecke Bremen – Oldenburg, Out Now!

I have two questions according to that Dlc.
Ive done the two tutorials for the E110 and the Karlsruher Kopf but i am not sure about something.

E110
During the tutorial i have to stop on the first station.
I have done that but when i am correct ive used only 90% of break power but at one moment there appeared an beeping noise.
I dont know why or whats the reason for that.
Didnt run into emergency brake.... so not sure what caused this noise and its not explained.

Karlsruher Kopf
During tutorial i have to speed up and be careful not to overpower the engine.
The E110 has a nice notification 65kN is 100%.... in Karlsruher Kopf didnt see any info or marking on the power scale.
I dont see there whats the allowed maximum and as you can imagine ive overpowered it.
But after this there is no explenation how to get it back to work.
Ive tried to release all controls (lever at 0) but nothing happens.

 

Looks very nice but on Gen 8 (PS4 ) there is an awful amount of FPS dipping into the red (mind you I have been so used to Gen 9 for the last few months, so I may have been spoilt somewhat) as well as the following.




As well as awful rail joint sounds (PS4 and apparently Xbox series X). As soon as my video renders I will add clips in the feedback thread or the Tech forum. Other than that its a damn good route. Looking forward to when the DLC manager eventually is released sometime next year. :P

This route is going to be a real challenge to drive using a RailDriver. All the tap notches are compressed into the half quadrant on the throttle, very touchy to try and keep it from overpowering and shutting off.

 

Ok, a few questions/issues:
- the PZB indicators don’t seem to be working in the cab car
- it feels like I’m lurching quite a bit when accelerating even when using a tiny bit of power, am I doing something wrong?

 

So I'm guessing the feedback many of us are looking for this evening is the $64k or rather £30 question: Is this actually worth a full price purchase at £30, or is it one for a sale?

 

Am I right that there is no way to activate SIFA in the cabcar?

 

My Feedback on Bremen to Oldenburg Route (Xbox Series X)

I’ll categorically organise this into Positives/Improvements I would recommend/Issues I’ve found.

I’ll edit this post as I play more of the route.

Positives

1. Great amount of detail put into the black marble shiny bricks at the tunnels of Bremen and the brickwork their of the main station looks very realistic

2. (I don’t know them personally but) the sounds seem great for DB 110

3. Like the immersion added into the cab of DB Br 110 with heater controls

4. Varied timetable between shunters, RE, RB, ICE, IC, Freight, ECS

5. Some good detail put into the model of the main building for both Oldenburg and Bremen Hbf

6. Bremen Hbf Feels very alive with the Ai Service Patterns going on, A little snow fall also adds well to the atmosphere of the station.

Improvements I would Recommend

1. Add the KN cut out into tutorials for both DB Br 110 and Cab Car.

2. Show to player where to find KN Cab Display in. Cab car.

3. set the Cab car destination turner handle to move a bit quicker (this may be how it is in real life but if not it seems very slow to scroll through destinations)

4. I noticed in stream it was said off world destinations were compatible with the onboard PIS, however I’ve noticed their is no way to set Hannover HBf for the cab car.

5. Remove passengers sitting on out of service trains in the dark,if the train has just arrived and waiting a few minutes to carry on that’s all fine, but in that case keep the doors and have passenger lights and pis set on and corrects.

6. Automatically re shut gang way doors a few seconds after they are opened

6. Whilst the DB Br 110 has an intelligent PZB and sifa Acknowledgement system, where when the “B” button is pressed it only does what is required, the cab car doesn’t and this creates an inconsistency in systems

7. Have the DB Br 612 onboard PIS updated to include options in Bremen route and off World Bremen route where necessary

Issues I have found

1. The cab when selecting to drive the DB Br 110 displays Nicht Einsteigen rather than destination, this should be set up as 2 minutes to set up DB 110 and run back and forth and set the cab car destination isn’t enough time to do them tasks.

Arrival times to Delmenhorst from Bremen on RE DB Br 110 times are about a 1 minutes to a minute and half to low. This reflects on other stops as they are noticeably more correct for arrival times than that one. Arriving into Oldenburg on these same services is also about a minute too low.

3. DB Br 101 train sets have passenger lights turned off.

4. Issue with PZB restricted mode (I’m aware this is noted)

5. Some Bushes enters the cab of the DB Br 110 just before heading over the bridge into Oldenburg

6. noticed some very strange textures on the DB Br 612 parked just before Oldenburg, it looked a bit like military camouflage

7. I’ve released the brakes on the cab car but the hud still shows red, is there something still on that I’ve missed ? Theirs quite some resistance to acceleration with it when this happens, there’s also a lot of Brake Hissing when this is occurring and the cab car is sort of rocking back and forth

this rocking back and forth seems to happen quite a lot of the journey of the cab (especially when accelerating under about 70mph)

I did fully release the cab car brake, when I reapplied it and released it again red hud went away but there was still rocking back and forth

Hud remains red also sometimes after but can be turned back clear again if you move the reverser handle about (this has to be done nearly if not at every stop with the brakes)

8. Ai Cab car front end services (maybe both ways) don’t display correct PIS, it stayed as Nicht Einsteigen, this may be because it’s heading eventually off World and that may not be an option on the scroll blind. Heading from Oldenburg to Bremen when i seen this

Destination display light also off on some Ai cab cars (the ones where the cab car is at the back of set)

9. Some gang way doors only half animate opening, you can walk through them but on side they appear closed and you can appear to clip through, and on the other you can still see that the door handle is close but they are mostly visibly open

they seem to be one of two doors, that are at where the carriages connect up gangways

10. When operating the Cab Car services the DB Br 110 does not activate automatically it’s TailLights

11. moving external camera not too far way from the PIS of the cab car, causes it to turn to a grey and blank until close enough (right up at it) to it again.

12. The DB Br 155 interior corridors where the PZB fuses are and internal engine is extremely bright and seems unrealistic compared to how the old Red DB Br 155 is dark in that corridor (in day or night)

this may be missing some light baking or something…

13. Quite a lot of audio stuttering when applying a lot of brakes (the more you apply each time you pull the brake handle the more it stutters) noticed on the cab car

14. Not sure if this one is an issue or just different to other routes, the platform PIS at Bremen and what I noticed was a 425 to Nordenham displayed “RE” but no number, this is the same thing with RB services on The Platform PIS aswell. (time 10:05)

15. AI 425 service RE to Nordenham from Bremen HBf (leaves station at about 10:06.30) didn’t display headlights whilst boarding passengers, it did display them when it left the station

16. Possible Ai issue where a DB br 110 awaiting service at a little later time, didn’t display headlights or taillights but the intended rear of the train (cab car) does display taillights (At Bremen HBf 10:08) (awaiting service at 10:15)

This is why DTG needs to provide manuals. We should not have to dig around in the forums to find instructions on operation.

 

I installed it to my xbox but it keeps crashing back to the main menu. Turned it off and played it on PC. Looks a good route.

I mean.... DTG make the effort to create tutorials to learn basics on new locos/trains.
So why all important things are not mentioned?
I understand that working a long time on such Dlc cause that all project members know how the trains work but this should be explained n such tutorials.

I work in as CAD-engineer and in need to jump in a role of an customer which do not have any clue about the product he will receive so i need to provide all informations that he know how to use it. This here is the same case.
I am not an train driver so all necessary infos must be provided in a tutorial and not that i have to search on forums....

 

Got it working perfectly since I got the Xbox code from the British Ace who was actually streaming Bahnstrecke Bremen Oldenburg 06:00 EST 11:00 BST to 08:00 EST 13:00 BST. Important thing to remember is that you can actually accomplish the red version power surge achievement 1550 km using the Blue Pressnitztalbahn Baureihe 155 version which that comes with the route. If you already accomplish this on routes that actually layers the red version DB Baureihe 155 & own Bahnstrecke Hagen Finnentrop Siegen Ruhr Sieg Nord you already have the out of the press achievement from the start. During the tutorial level if you don't stop on the spot on the first stop for DB Baureihe 110.3 Einheitselok you will be stuck on the screen saying this same instruction stop at station

 

Someone please enlighten me:

The route is set in 1991-2010, as the code is 3.DBB-R6. The BR 187 subs in, as I've seen it spawn on the route, and playable on it too. But it's from 2011 onward...?

 

Subs and layers don't have to comply with the route code. Most freight trains will sub into each other regardless of route code.

First impression = disappointment. Where is the love? I mean, where is QC/QA/whatever, Dovetail?

As I just got my invitation to try Simrail tomorrow when the "uninitialised" unlocks, it would take uber persuasion to get me buying BBO at this point.

 

I’m really struggling with this. The reverser handle in my cab car simply disappeared without a trace and I can’t reinstall it. The PZB lights are not operating. All of the drivers at the Hoyerswerda grade crossing are on a suicide mission. The train brake is pretty janky.
I’ll try again with the loco but I am really underwhelmed with the launch.

 

Is their some sort of heating control switch in cab car, I could have sworn i noticed it the stream ?

I was going to do a day 1 purchase, I was very excited about this release, but the feedback of other players, with even pzb not functioning in cab makes me at least postpone my purchase until fixes are implemented. Don't you guys have a checklist that every release has to pass before it can be launched? What drives you that makes you get your user base excited just to disappoint them again and again?

 

Now I need to calm down. I hope this is not a final build, just a random pre-QC/QA upload. Second impressions are better for me sometimes. I just deleted the /config folder, said a prayer and now I'm going to play Timetable because maybe Journeys are buged again? Who knows...

 

With all the dlc I have I spotted that I’ve done only 10% in over 1600hrs (990odd out of just under 10000).

I don’t think I have life space for anymore just yet. I have routes I’m enjoying still (though I love a German layered route)

im curious whether bidstack is sorted and the checkpoint is now back in this latest request for £30. We’re nearly 3-4 month in on both since acknowledged

 

It's sad really. If one route would have persuaded me to part with £30 on Day 1 it would have been this one.

I really think DTG need to sit down and take a hard look at where they are going with this franchise, from the bottom up - route length, included trains, price and most important conscientious development and QA then backed up by genuine after sales service in terms of fixing the bugs and issues that slip the net. I'm sure there are some great individuals working for the company or contracted in who are doing their best, but collectively the whole thing comes across as lackadaisical and lazy - just push the content out to make a bit more money. Don't get me wrong, when TSW is good I really enjoy it, in fact as I type this I'm grinding up Cajon. But if the product is to have a future, they need to get their .... together.

 

as much I think this route could be one of the Best ones of the collection, I’ve found a lot of quite obvious and some major issues in such a short period of time, I do think I should have waited to purchase at least until patches start rolling out tbh, I think this is definitely the last day one purchase nowadays

don’t like to use this phrase but I do feel a lot more like a “pay to test” rather than “a customer with a finished product”

I think I would refer to this product as a £22 ish route with issues rather than a £30 finished product

 

I would not be surprised in any way if DB actually does create unachievable timetables. Isn't it basically the same on Dresden - Chemnitz?

 

Yea I was thinking something similar, probably an issue of someone creates the timetable with not enough expertise in the train area to understand each locos time to get there.

 

After the two tutorials I had a bash at the 1st scenario in the rail journeys using the cab car. About halfway through my PC spectacularly crashed and rebooted! It’s never done that before, in fact it’s a rock usually, so it’s difficult not to point the finger at TSW3.

 

The more I drive it the more sloppy and rushed it feels, its almost like it had to be out for the Christmas period come what may.

Definitely no where as good as BCC, and I'm left with a disappointed taste with buyers remorse right now. If I wasn't over the 2 hour limit Id be refunding it right now.

Oh and achieving all 3 of the achievements within 3 hours of game play is not a good thing.

 

There is definitely something wrong with this DLC. I had already five crashes today which is about as much as I had since I installed TSW3.

 

Same story but I got Hot off the Press for the PRESS BR155 since that counts to the original Red Version Power Surge 1550 km RSN and the BROfessor thanks to the British Ace giving the Xbox code in his stream for the route Bremen Oldenburg. So far I enjoyed it including the Blue 155 which spawned on SFS Hannover Kassel Wurzburg

 

I am absolutely gutted as I was looking forward to this route so much.

Just taken the 425 for a spin and right now I am speechless, how on earth did DTG take a fairly decent model and ruin it? No PZB sounds, the brightness button changes the UD and the UD button changes the brightness, and what on earth is going on with the head lights?

PZB and signalling seems broken as well, got warning signals of a 40 then the actual signal displays a 20 limit?


And this is unacceptable, not even Munich gives me this FPS,

 

I dont have any crashes or other problems with this dlc but the lightning seems to be strange in comparison to other crispy routes at same light conditions..... or the shadows are not correct?

Seems to me if DTG have any honour, now is the time to show it. Pull the route, refund those who purchased it (regardless of Steam 2 hours), sort the wretched thing out and put it back on sale at a significantly lower price.

 

100% agree, its an insult to the community and right now damaging the TSW brand. I doubt I'll be buying day 1 ever again.

I’m absorbing all this feedback. I was expecting some praise mixed in with the reports of errors and faults. Maybe it really is that bad because I haven’t seen any yet today. Very strange for German content. I can’t add any of my own feedback because I have no room on my PS5 to even consider buying this route at the moment. It was looking good in the preview stream too. What a shame that nobody has really said anything good about it yet but lots of bugs reported. I shall continue to follow developments…
