These lines would come up to a total length of roughly 90 miles, with freight being prioritised on them. Here's a list of all the routes: West Ruislip to West Ealing & London Paddington Acton Yard to Brent (Dudding Hill Line) Acton Canal Wharf to Willesden & Wembley Yards Neasden Jn to West Ruislip & London Marylebone Acton Yard/Main Line to Slough West Drayton to Thorney Mill Stone Terminal Southall to Brentford Town London Paddington to Acton Main Line Willesden S.W.S to Hither Green Down Recp Brent Jn to Cricklewood Aggregates Terminal Richmond to Stratford (London) Camden Jn to Willesden & Wembley Yards Willesden & Wembley Yards to Watford Junction Brent Curve Jn to Churchyard Sidings Slough to Windsor & Eton Central The core route for this network (Dudding Hill) would have roughly 60 freight services pass over its 4 mile length, with 6 or 7 of these branching off to head to West Ruislip via Wembley or terminate at the yard next to the Chiltern main line at Neasden. The route would be set in around 2017/18, so that the GWR turbos could still be used for most of the AI on the GWML. Included Rolling Stock Class 66 in GBRf, Freightliner Green & DB Schenker livery Obviously the DBS Class 66 has been done lord knows how many times before for TSW, so no need for an image of that. The GBRf and Freightliner variants have yet to be done outside of Creators Club, with these locos forming the bulk of the services on this route. These would also bring with them new types of wagons, these being the FSA, FTA, IKA and HIA wagons for Freightliner, with the first 3 wagons all making appearances on the various container train workings on this route for all companies and the HIA being used on services to/from Merehead Quarry (Class 59 would be a later DLC option). For GBRf, the JNA-T, FWA & HYA wagons would be exclusive to GBRf, whilst the DB wagon fleet remains the same as on GWE, with the new additions from SEHS also available to people who own it. Class 165 in Chiltern Railways & Great Western Railway liveries These units total up to 75 sets, with 39 allocated to Chiltern Railways and 36 residing over at GWR. Of these sets, 28 of the Chiltern units are 2 cars, with the remaining 11 being 3 cars long. The GWR ratio is 16 2 cars vs 20 3 cars. The GWR Class 166 could also be layered in for owners of GWE to supplement the 165's. Another thing to note is that all of the 165/0's (Chiltern units) are only capable of doing 75mph, whereas the GWR units (165/1) can do 90mph, just as the 166 can do 90mph. London Paddington has been included on this mainly to allow the running of the Chiltern 'Ghost Train' from West Ruislip to Paddington, which starts from South Ruislip down to Paddington, then leaves Paddington at 1136 and heads back up to West Ruislip, calling at South Ruislip on the way. More often than not this would be a 2 car unit. Class 378 in London Overground (Old) Formed of 5 coaches by this time, the fleet of 57 Class 378's have been just about everywhere on the London Overground network, and in 2022 mostly find themselves working North London line services after displacement on the Watford-Euston services, although they still would've ran these services at the time the route is set. Stock Layering into the route Now, you're probably wondering about what happens with the section of line down to Hither Green, seeing as none of the above rolling stock operates passenger services down there. Well, the Class 465 & 375 would layer in to do services from SEHS, with the Class 377 & 387 also layering in to provide AI around Clapham Junction. For people who don't own London Commuter, they would still get a class 377 layering in at Clapham as long as they owned East Coastway, and if they don't own either then Clapham will simply be empty for the most part, although Platforms 1 & 2 would still get usage off the Class 378 taking services from there out as far as Wandsworth Road before proceeding off map, as well as roughly 60 or so freight services that go through the station each day, with these almost exclusively being GBRf workings, although about 1/5 of these are DB with none of them being Freightliner as far as I can tell. The 1972 stock would also layer in and provide services between Queens Park and Harrow & Wealdstone. In terms of future services that could layer in, a WCML route would allow the addition of any of the Class 221, 350 & 390 between Wembley & Watford.
Good idea, however what if we bring more freight locos for the base route, like the class 86 for example?
Take my £30 right now DTG. This is a superb suggestion which would create some routes that would likely otherwise not happen. Please please please, pretty please DTG.
Possible DLC 'Freightliner Electric Megapack' Class 86 & 90 in Freightliner Green & Powerhaul livery, Class 90 in Freightliner Orange & Black Livery These 2 classes of locos are regulars on Freightliner trains up the WCML to Scotland, although the 86's were withdrawn last year after the GA 90's transferred over to Freightliner. Freightliner Diesel Loco Pack - Class 66 in Freightliner Orange & Black and Powerhaul livery, Class 59 in Freightliner Orange & Black livery This would add a bit more variety to the Freightliner services, with the Class 59s finding themselves employed on workings to and from Whatley Quarry throughout the day. The Powerhaul & Orange Class 66s would randomly appear on the many 66 operated Freightliner services.
One of the best suggestions this year. Unlikely we would see the entire proposed route mileage and not sure which loco/stock would be prioritised given we are still only being supplied with one new traction type for our £30. However depending on era, reskinned 313's could do the North London and Watford DC lines.
Another requested locomotive that can fit here class 70 diesel for the train simulator classic community that owns train simulator world it should be familiar for them because you can get it for West Coast Main Line North. Electric dual voltage Class 92 dual mode classes 88 93 & 99.
