I have noted some possible lines that can be added to the Portsmouth Direct Line in order to extend the route and increase its replayability by providing players with a wider range of potential scenarios.

    1. Kingston Loop Line - The Kingston Loop diverges from the existing route at Clapham Junction, with trains travelling to Richmond and Twickenham via the Waterloo-Reading line, before travelling south and rejoining the existing route at New Malden. Including trains taking the Shepperton Branch, the line between Twickenham and Norbiton is used by 8 trains per hour. Between Clapham Junction and Twickenham, the line is used by 12 trains per hour. Class 444 sets do not visit the Kingston Loop Line, Class 450 and Class 455 units (Class 455s sometimes coupled to Class 456s) are the majority of the rolling stock used here. Class 458/5 and Class 707 units do operate services on this portion of the line, however the Class 707 is also used on services to Hampton Court, which the Class 458/5 is not.
NEW STATIONS: Wandsworth Town, Putney, Barnes, Mortlake, North Sheen, Richmond, St Margarets, Twickenham, Strawberry Hill, Teddington, Hampton Wick, Kingston, Norbiton.

    2. Shepperton Branch - The Shepperton Branch diverges from the Kingston Loop Line at Strawberry Hill. Trains go every 30 minutes on weekdays and every hour on weekends, stopping at all stations between Waterloo and Shepperton. On weekdays, all off-peak trains travel via Kingston, however there are four additional morning trains, and three additional evening trains that travel via Richmond.
NEW STATIONS: Fulwell, Hampton, Kempton Park, Sunbury, Upper Halliford, Shepperton

    3. District Line (Wimbledon to East Putney or Edgware Road to Kensington (Olympia), Wimbledon, and Richmond) - Adding the Kingston Loop Line would put both end points of the section of the District Line that is visited by SWT/SWR rolling stock when being diverted or on driver training exercises. Extending this further to Edgware Road and Kensington (Olympia) would allow players to use London Underground C, D and S Stock on a full London Underground Service. Adding the line to Richmond would provide a wider range of playable District Line services, should there be demand for it.
NEW STATIONS (MINIMUM): Wimbledon Park, Southfields, East Putney (SWT scenarios only)
NEW STATIONS (PARTIAL): Putney Bridge, Parsons Green, Fulham Broadway, West Brompton, Earl's Court (Half-length London Underground scenarios with portion used by SWT.)
NEW STATIONS (FULL): Kensington (Olympia), High Street Kensington, Notting Hill Gate, Bayswater, Paddington, Edgware Road (Full-length London Underground Services with portion used by SWT.)
NEW STATIONS (EXTENDED): West Kensington, Barons Court, Hammersmith, Ravenscourt Park, Stamford Brook, Turnham Green, Chiswick Park, Gunnersbury, Kew Gardens, Richmond (Additional route to another station visited by SWT services, but extended route has less to do with SWT.

    4. New Guildford Line - The New Guildford Line diverges from the existing route at Surbiton and rejoins it at Guildford. Trains use this line on services between Waterloo and Guildford, calling at Waterloo, Vauxhall, Clapham Junction, Earlsfield, Wimbledon, and Surbiton, before turning onto the New Guildford Line and stopping at all station on the line. Trains go 2 per hour on weekdays and 1 per hour on weekends.
While Class 455 units (occasionally coupled to Class 456 units) are used most of the time, occasionally Class 444 and Class 450 units are used instead.
NEW STATIONS: Hinchley Wood, Claygate, Oxshott, Cobham & Stoke d'Abernon (CSD), Effingham Junction, Horsley, Clandon, London Road

    Red - Existing Route
    Orange - Proposed SWT extensions
Pink - District Line shared by SWT
    Purple - District Line
Purple Dotted - Branch of District Line to Richmond

Using these extensions, additonal scenarios for the following rolling stock can be implemented:
    Class 423
    Class 444
    Class 450
    Class 455/7
    Class 455/8
    Class 455/9
    Class 456
    Class 458/5
    Class 707
    London Underground C Stock
    London Underground D Stock
    London Underground S Stock

That part of the district line has already been modelled. And it's free. So I don't see this happening. Would be great if it did though.

I'm aware of the Virtual District Line project that's being made, however this extension just provides a small taster for that route so that the Underground trains players could encounter on the section between Wimbledon, Penge East and Richmond would have somewhere to run to.
It's pretty much the same idea as what DTG did with Marylebone-Aylesbury and the Metropolitan Line routes, where Marylebone-Aylesbury features a shortened version of the Metropolitan Line for flavour, while the Metropolitan Line has the full Underground route.
