I’ve recently moved over from the GWE & Rapid Transit and had a go at the NEC. Apart from the awful lag my first go was alright though controlling the speed and momentum when approaching Penn station needs some practice. Anyway, I had a go tonight at a service from Newark to New Rochelle. When I used the brake in Scenario mode (L2 trigger) I was fine, yet when in Service mode it doesn’t slow down as much and I’m having to actually use the handle on the drivers dash to brake. Am I missing something, do I need to switch a button on the dash to activate this brake or what? I’ve come off it now for the night so I can’t tell you what it says when I press L2 but the brake works in Scenario and not in Service mode.
