like MARTA, MARC, SEPTA, and so on usually didn't like US diesel commuter but while playing MBTA at NEC i find it interesting. and Mega-sized stainless boxes running backwards is always looks odd but amazing also glad to see ACELA in TSW. remember days with it in TS2014.
Dtg has had difficulty obtaining those licenses cuz the tocs don't allow them or don't have them at all. That's why the marc mp36 was unbranded and white in dc to Baltimore in tsc. The main issues with the us licensing is that there are lots of private operators who don't allow tsw the license to use their trains and livery in game so the routes are limited. Dtg only have amtrak, mbta and mta. Caltrain too but that's its own route in cali and not anywhere else.
i would like to see marta since im from the area but i dont count marta as a commuter i count it as a subway but if they do i would like the gold line
|For MARC I would like to see at minimum the Penn line between DC Union and Baltimore Penn. If licensing is a issue, the can just use gray and blue locos with no logos and unmarked Nippon Sharyo and Bombardier cars since they already have licensing agreements with those companies. Also, there's no need to be stuck in the present, Dovetail can implement historic commuter routes (PRR, Penn Central, Conrail) and even Amtrak's Metroliner service.
People would much rather have licensed and branded content than unbranded. Island line 2022 received negative feedback cuz of having a fictional livery. So I would like you said, like a historic commuter route if they can't get the marc license since that makes the route feel busy. That's if they obtain the license of course if they don't have it already
