Train Sim World 3 Tsw Br 182 And Dbpbzfa Compared To Fleischmann 1:160 (thanks To Steam Sale!)

Been waiting to get this loco and cars since TSW3 came out, wanted to get it on sale. I've had this little train for a number of years now and really wanted to see it in a sim, almost should've paid full price! The loco's got DCC w/ sound and the Steuerwagen has DCC lights.

That's really cool. Hope you have fun. But, just a fyi but the cab car that comes with the 182 does not work but the other cab cars from different routes do. It's been an issue from tsw3 and we don't know when it's going to be fixed if ever

 

Ouch! What part is not working? I am having trouble getting both the Hamburg - Lübeck and Rapid Transit cabs to release Traction Lock.

EDIT: I was able to get the Hamburg cab to work (release Traction Lock) by fiddling with the door lock but no luck on Rapid Transit.

EDIT2: From the December 13 patch I see "Improved door system to be able to being used with a bunch of other locos in the game to not cause traction lock. Doors still can’t being operated with other locos (incompatible doors system)."

 

Yea, it was the traction lock issue. Regardless, I hope you are enjoying playing your favorite locomotive in game

 

Man, this is still not fixed 6 months later? I was looking to pick up some things on steam summer sale for TSW3 (just got back from England and would love some GWR trains like I rode) but this does NOT instill confidence in the product. The one train I wanted to run, the whole point of my getting the game, clearly included in the game for some time, and I cannot use it?
