Hear out ChatGPT regarding TSW. When did that come out ? XD ( Also, it doesn't know what EMUs & locos. operate on the Rapid Transit, so the score so far... AI ( 0 ) - Railfans ( 1 ) For reference, ChatGPT is an AI-based model for language processing. ( In simple words, a seriously smart Chatbot ). It was trained with the data generated before 2021, so you have to be specific about current events...
Fingers crossed... But it would be hilarious if the title of 'content leaker' goes to an AI & JD loses his bragging rights XD
Have a look at the other points and see that it is completely wrong. Whatever that AI does, it does not do it right.
New Year, new leaks? NEC New York - New Haven would mean an upgrade for the original TSW1 NEC route, including a very long extension. The original route only went up to New Rochelle. If that's the case in the parallel universe, New York must have been completely redesigned, because we know the old route didn't work any longer on current route standards. So a new build would be more practical. If the skyline, especially at Sunnyside Yard, would look like it does in the new LIRR TSC version, that would be a huge visual advance. Would also be a great route section for the upcoming Acela Express DLC. With the route looking more lively, you could still let AI M7 trains drive around. German fans would be really happy about the BR218, which has already been confirmed by TSG. So the ChatGPT is no longer up to date. ...just a little bit of text and the speculation picks up speed!
AI has come on leaps and bounds, Here it is making many mistakes and yet it still has the power to convince some that it is predicting the future.
TSW1 was a real highlight when I first played it on PS4 in summer 2018. Now if you compare it to TSW3, it's a world of difference. But it was still fun. If a new NEC route comes out (there will definitely be one, some think with NJ Transit), one might think about bringing out the SW1000R again. May be old and rusty, but you have something unique for switching.
Just checked: NEC New York - New Haven is an addon for the TSC. So the ChatGPT does not only concern information for TSW but also for TSC, i.e. there won't be a remake of the NEC TSW1 route soon. So the code is cracked for today. This would confirm the trend towards NEC with NJ Transit.
And let not forget the cab car. Unfortunately the route was build using a unique technique so it wasn’t possible to port the route and its rolling stock onto TSW2, now we have the ASC-64 we miss the cab car now
I think the demand for the loco is so great, that you don't have to ask if it's coming, but when it's coming. The 218 goes well with the recently released n-wagons in regional traffic on the Niddertalbahn. As we already know it will be the next German route, that can be layered later. Personally, I'm looking forward to the BR232 "Ludmilla", which we hope to see from the second half of the year, while the 218 won't come before 2024.
The Metroliner Cab Cars doesnt run on the NEC to Boston anyway, so there is no point to add it back unless we get a NEC route that has the Keystone services. Which could happen if this new route is a segment of NEC alot of us are predicting.
Just informed about the Keystone services or Keystone Corridor, the trains run from Philadelphia to Pittsburgh. That's in the neighboring state Pennsylvania. Because Philadelphia lies in New Jersey, NJ Transit could also appear. So the southern part of NEC will be the most likely option in the end.
A podcast I listen to recently had ChatGPT write their intro gag, and then discussed how many iterations it took, and things like how it always insisted on including the line "This episode is brought to you by the number A"
