By that I don't mean anything fancy, just the way it existed in TSC would suffice. At least give us the ability to change the rolling stock parked in the training center, with a physical map editor where we can select cars individually to put them in exact locations. For the sake of realism, I would remove all the non-German trains there (since it seems to be in Germany) and add all the German trains from the DLCs. For example, a real life training center would have a lot of shunting locomotives, while this is not the case here because the shunter behind a DLC which isn't represented in the training center. Maybe there would be a British Class 66 as a novelty. Also, the locomotive sheds should be walkable with detailed interiors, repair tools, etc. Also, you can change the state of the locomotives(running or not running). Since they must already have an appropriate tool to create the map, why don't they offer it publicly? I would pay for it if the price is not crazy.

There is supposedly a Scenario Editor 2.0 in the works, but it's gone very quiet now so don't hold your breath.

And I think we can pretty much rule out any sort of freely available route editor.

There will be no editor any time soon or at all really since dtg have been adamant of there not being one.

Training Center is fictional, it’s not based on Germany. Training Center is meant to be a place to learn how to drive every type of train. The training center is populated with the trains that come with the base game (KWG, CJP, and SEHX) as this is what most people have, especially new players. It is only meant to be an open sandbox to test and learn how to play the game.
Having majority of shunter locomotives would also go against the purpose of Training Center because not all trains are shunter locomotives.

It is loosely based on a Siemens (I think) facility in Germany, to be fair. Although overall it is fictional.

I said I would add shunter locomotives, not make them the only locomotives there. And training center in TSW3 is very heavily based on Siemens Wegberg-Wildenrath Test center in Germany.

There are no shunter locomotives included with the Standard or Deluxe packages of the game, and the static stock in Training Center is only trains from the Standard and Deluxe packages. This is because like I said, Training Center is meant for new players to learn the game, and for training modules.

Of course any trains can be added to Training Center using Scenario Planner with Off The Rails mode. Additionally you could make a German-Only scenario as well.

If you’re on PC you could use something like God Mode to add any train to the training center as well.

Yes they took inspiration from that centre, however the in-game implementation of Training Centre isn’t focused on Germany or any country for that matter. Training Centre was designed for any train from any country to run on it. (Well except for non-standard gauge trains but that’s a different story).

I would like to see the option of all loco's in installed addon's listed in the training centre, to enable you to use the training centre to learn how to drive them, without having to create a Training Centre scenario for each loco.
