Doh! Done it again. All these modern trains look alike.

What is the speech announcement feature? For The DB BR407 ICE3

 

It means the in cab voice announcement for the train protection systems and other system stuff that is rebuild in a very prototypical way. The sounds were not only played as they are called. They run trought a priorized order and no sound will be cut as on much other german locos/trains. It is nothing important to much of the casual users, but it is kinda unique in TS for now.

 

Yeah they already have this. I have been driving the ICE T and ICE 3 and ICE3M they all have the AFB system that calls out speeds and other call outs. so this is not even a new feature.

 

No, they don't have it like in the Velaro. It may be not important to most users, but it is a nice prototypical detail.

 

Unless it has other call outs its the same as the other ICE Trains. still may get it though later on. love the trains.

 

Just wished this train had TVM included for riding on the LGV extension
