Saw these HUD retextures running on a YouTube video made just 3 or 4 months ago, and they were working just fine. So I hunted them down, and found them on UKTrainSim.

    https://www.uktrainsim.com/filelib-info.php?form_fileid=32172

I've attempted to register an account with UKTrainSim so I could download them, but not sure if I'll get a reply, seeing as their security certificate has expired. Not sure if anybody is still home at UKTrainSim.

Does anybody know if they are available for download somewhere else? Or if someone has copies of them, would it be OK if they gave me a Dropbox download link for them. Not trying to do anything sneaky, but since they're free, just trying to get my hands on them, as they look great!

    Thanks! :)

Long enough to download what you want/might need.

Which means you'll never find what you want amongst the 1,000s of files you'll be storing!

Keeping a folder structure (Wagons, Scenery, Routes, etc) should help.

Presumably this retexture automatically and correctly identifies the train type and displays accordingly?

They're still the same standard HUDs just with different textures, not really sure what you're questioning here?

There’s one variant for F3, but three for the F4 HUD, one each for diesel, electric and steam. Unless they are toggled by key, presumably the HUD picks the correct ‘skin’ based on train type?

    Yes.

In RailWorks\data\textures\frontend there are five .tga texture files called DrivingInt_diesel.tga, DrivingInt_electric.tga, DrivingInt_steam.tga, 2013_DrivingInt_steam_Extra.tga, and also DrivingInt_dieselbg.tga these are the texture files the game uses to display both the F3 and F4 HUD's.

The game picks what it needs to display depending on what HUD mode you're using and what loco type you've selected, all the mod does is use edited versions of those same files the game doesn't know anything is different.
