Today I broke the World Record for the fastest train in TSW3. I was able to reach stunning speeds of 155mph (251kmh) which happened 8.5 miles away from Ebbsfleet International on my way to St Pancras. The train that helped me get the record was 395019 which is an EMU (Electric Multiple Unit). Operating the 1J21 Margate - St Pancras International. If you have ever came close or have past this record let me know in the comments.
the slang is killing me lol, I understand it all but try to speak more proper and formal when you are here please
I really don't care how anyone says it. Let's not cause a problem when there does not need to be one.
Oh yeah I did that on an 8F. Wheelspinning to 437mph! Unfortunately, it doesn't count here. I wonder if we'll breach 400km/h WITH junction derail enabled?
Yeah that was terrific but of course impossible to slow down than waiting for a tight curve to stop completely
That's not actually how fast he was going. As you can see the train has wheelspin so the speedometer thinks he's doing 318mph.
Yes I had wheelspin but I was going really fast around 400kph this was a big where you loose control and the speed keeps increasing even with wheelspin
Yo it moight be slang from da street More seriously I just asked a friend and he translated be it could be fine not to use a particular slang form of language as many people including me are non native English speakers and could have trouble trying to decipher different slang
‘try to speak more proper’ ?!?!?! Maybe you should take your own advice! The best way to get high speed is to initiate wheelslip with the Jubille steam engine. I think I got it to 500mph once. I’ll try to get a photo next time. Although it is the speed of wheel rotation and not the actual velocity of the train.
To be honest the logic with a steam train going 300 mph and more breaks the laws of physics I know tgv and ice can go up to 400kph upwards but steam trains is unreal besides I do mine by train real speeds not by wheel slips
I'm trying to see if the tgv can go high speeds it's capable of going upto 574.8 on it's project v150 but it's struggling to put up with 328kph
I'm using the 8 car well 10 including power car I managed to get 378kph going downhill on lgv on a tgv duplex
The V150 was a POS set with 2 power cars and 3 coaches with both jacob bogies being motorized so the total set was producing 26 300 hp instead of the 12 500 hp of a classic POS set with 8 coaches so yeah no way you can reproduce that in TSW sadly
If this continues any longer I will be having Dovetail lock this thread and I will make another thread like this. Please stop.
lol, I’m not doing anything I just wanted to tell somebody that most people won’t understand his slang
You are close with the actual record which was actually it's LGV Perpignan Barcelone Madrid Atocha version S-103 404 kmh 251 mph September 2006. The speed is feasible if you are trying to running it downhill Schnellfahrstrecke Hannover Würzburg Fulda Würzburg
I got 999mph on the 66 in TC by overrrevving the engine on the SEHS 66, hence creating wheelspin, what then followed was a spacelaunch lol
Oh wow! The class 66 seems to be a good loco to try this on! The speed of sound is 767mph, so I have no idea how the wheels are surviving!
Do we count wheel spin for this or do we restrict it to real speeds? If the former then I recall seeing 1,000+ once, albeit for a split second. Yes, I was in space shortly afterwards.
Fastest I've been (without wheel slip) is 375km/h ish on the ICE 3 on koln-aachen. I'm surprised it got through the 160km/h corner just after Duren. Unfortunately I have no screenshots
