I was wondering if the HST with the Valenta Engine and look with various liveries they had including IC 125 Blue Grey and the Intercity Swallow livery for Diesel Legends Extension if there was one or GW Express extended to Swindon via Didcot featuring Didcot Railway Centre
I am all for this. I am truly baffled how we have such boring stock such as the 377s, and loads of awful American and foreign stock but after 4-5 years we still don’t have the most iconic rolling stock in the UK yet. Class 50, Mallard, Flying Scotsman, Valenta HST, 2nd gen sprinters, pacers, Class 35 Hymek, Madness !!
Agreed. The Class 55, 80 series & 91 are other missing icons! I would prefer it if they took more time to build even more variety of stock rather than releasing routes with essentially general sweep iterative pieces (looking at you 1 gen of dopplestock, Traxx, Talent 2, Class 66, 377, 101, GP38, SD40, GE Evo/Dash 8). I got Oakville in the sale and that version of the GP38 is a welcome break because it's a unique version. In every country we have, there's tons of weird & wonderful models, recent releases are nice additions (BBO, BCC, ICE1), but too few imo. I think France is criminally untouched as well.
Also ECML North 1990s Waverly to Newcastle Upon Tyne where they do King's Cross to Dundee/Aberdeen trips. Class 91 to Waverly since it was electrified in 1989-1990.
