So the PlayStation 5 64GB limit is exclusive to the internal hard drive of the PlayStation or would not also include the SSD or would the SSD be considered separate in other words I'm asking if I had an SSD and I split the DLC would that technically be a workaround if anyone's tried this let me know because I've been testing it thx guys
I am a PC player, but I understand that the 64GB limit for PS5 is not because of storage space (HD/SSD), but the amount of DLC that a game may have active at any given time. Therefore, the SSD idea will not address the actual problem. Only when DTG release the dynamic loading of DLC will it truly be resolved. Until then, you will have to unload any DLC over 64GB, regardless of any physical storage you may have.
The limited is for MOUNTED DLC and the way DTG set the game up is that all DLC are mounted at all times The DLC loader will only mount what's needed at any one time, so bypass this limitation There are also limits on the number of individual DLC which can be mounted at any one time and the DLC loader will also stop this one being an issue
