I keep seeing posts about TSW3 bugs or annoying things in the sim but I'm not sure if there's a definitive list of things that need fixing by DTG, so I'll list mine SEHS extended 1. Class 66 rain on windscreen 2. Class 66 cuts out at 34mph 3. 3rd rail flashes on the windscreen (especially bad in snow) 4. Trees in the cab Birmingham 1. GSRM radio goes blank and the loco PIS changes to "Not in Service" 2. windscreen wipers randomly stop working 3. Collectable flower pots don't save when you've collected them 4. poor night lighting BML 1. unable to uncouple loco on new freight services 2. still no rush hour passengers 3. Trees in the cab These are a few of the issues I've noticed recently that really annoy me. What are yours?
I believe if there was a cohesive list of problems to be fixed with TSW3 it would be longer than War and Peace. I have no idea how, when, if DTG could get anywhere near correcting the most glaring issues let alone those that are more minor in nature. I almost feel that a complete rethink at the high level is necessary to get things back on a good footing, but that would mean a years long rebuild.
Just for the record, I've seen rain on Class 66 windscreens lately, haven't experienced a 34 mph cut-out, and haven't happened to notice 3rd rail flashes; having my simulated face slapped by tree branches, however, is a real "immersion" killer -- and not only on the Southeastern High Speed route.
You need to add to the top of the list ‘ completely and utterly rebuild the physics and sound profile for class 150/2 ‘
I believe there was a massive thread about the 34 mph cut-out. I think it was determined that the cut-out was intentional because of... I can't remember actually. Let me check... Yeah this thread basically sums it up.
