On the MML - Hope Valley Just Trains made a pig of Slade Lane Jn (Manchester)
They put in two sets of Double Slips when they should be Diamond Crossings

I'm trying to change the junction to how it should be and I deleted the sections across the slip but when I try to place a new piece of track it dips below to street level and I'm not sure on how to correct it.

Anyone know how to keep the track level?

    Thanks

    Peter

Do you have snap-to-terrain enabled? Here's what it looks like in the bottom right tab.

If so, try unticking it to see if it'll lay level.

Thanks, I will give that a try.

  4. I think snap to track follows the track level.

I had Snap to Track on and it goes to Street Level - tried it off and it still does the same.

  6. The only work around I found for this is snap the terrain to the track before you remove it, remove the track and relay it then change the terrain tool to snap to roads and snap the terrain to the road below. You can edit the junctions. I think matt p done a tutorial on YouTube.
