Hey all, I'm relatively new to Train Simulator - recently got myself the Bossman Rebuilt MN class, 8f, along with the Manor class from Victory Works and finally the Challenger from Smokebox. All the above seem to be A+ on the realism side, but wondered if there are any I may not know about that are as good or even better? Do any of you have recommendations for high fidelity realistic steam locos?
Try this guys at https://caledoniaworks.com/ They do really nice steam locomotives also this American/Brazilian steam locomotives look really nice no idea in terms of simulation https://www.machine-rail.com/
In my view there's nothing better than the examples you give. There are others that are equal, but all producers emphasise different aspects of modelling. There is nothing that is perfect. If you want a more realistic steam experience the pay to drive a real steam loco!
