I'm interested in seeing what's out there. I'm particularly interested in routes that aren't set in present-day Britain/US/Germany, ones that come with decent scenarios, and ones that don't have a massive list of requirements.
My pick would be: GN Cascadian from G-Trax, it's an enhanced and backdated version of Stevens Pass set in the early 20th century. Part 1 (electrified) from Wenatchee to Skykomish is payware, Part 2 to Everett is free. Comes with a bunch of scenarios and the Y-1 electric loco and stock, free additional scenarios by the developers are available at RWA. Requirements: European and US Loco & Asset packs https://railworksamerica.com/index....imulations/item/316-g-trax-gn-cascadian-route
Stainmore, Shap and Eden Valley from Steam Sounds Supreme is a fine achievement with a generous selection of BR steam era rolling stock. The dependencies are not too outlandish given the scope of it.
Stainmore, Shap & Eden Valley: https://www.steamsoundssupreme.com/stainmore-shap-eden-valley.html Comes with all kinds of rolling stock, nice scenarios, and in QD there is decent traffic as well.
Have a look on Steam Sounds Supreme - they have a number of Free and Payware routes https://www.steamsoundssupreme.com/routes-for-ts.html Golden Age Developments https://www.golden-age-developments.co.uk/ Have a number of Freeware routes where the standard is very near payware
Unfortunately Golden Age Developments, and Steam Sounds Supreme to a lesser extent, fall afoul of my "don't have a massive list of requirements" rule.
For your wish i would pay a visit to the workshop if you haven't yet some decent content there routes and scenarios
It is a catch 22 with scenarios People complain about Just Trains Default Scenarios that use Kuju stock so you have a GWR HST on MML services. So their other scenarios have proper trains covering the services but that mean getting some DLC. The Scenarios can be as real or imaginary as you want. Swapping out what you don't have for what you do have saves money I have the Golden Age Developments Glorious Devon 1958 SR WR Part 2 But I cannot drive a Steam loco so the trains are Diesels
Try these 2 sites - www.wotawallysbits.co.uk/ https://backdatedtrainsim.weebly.com/ You can obtain my route ( South Lancs & North Cheshire ) from either ( although there are quite a few requirements and some assets which come with the route to install....so possibly not for you as you mentioned in your first post ), there are a good selection of period routes on both sites. Andy
Anyone looking at the WORAWALLYSBITS url might need to try this instead as I found that url is broken... https://wotawallysbits.net Hope this helps??? Eric
