As we all know, the sounds of the 385 really aren’t cutting it in the slightest. If you can, whilst doing either EDB-GLQ or GLQ-EDB, you can play one of these videos below with headphones in to a separate device so you have realistic sounds. I’ve just done a run from glasgow to edinburgh with headphones plugged into my phone with these sounds and it’s by far better than listening to the games sounds. I believe the sounds are recorded at the front of an 8 car train, so they will most suit your driving when in an 8 car, as long as you stick to speed limits, you will be more or less in time with the video. Yes you may be slightly out of sync with them, but it is better than nothing imo. links to the videos below:

A creative solution but there’s no way those sounds are going to match what you are doing in game. Another way to avoid the terrible sounds of the train is to play some music while you drive. Something Scottish would be preferable, Simple Minds, Bay City Rollers, Jesus and Mary Chain, The Proclaimers, Biffy Clyro, that kind of thing, or some bagpipes.

when i did my run earlier, i was more or less keeping to time with the video, just don’t use step 4 when departing and break earlier than you may think
