Can We Get Physics Back For Ai?

    Can this be put as an option? Sometimes I like being a passenger or riding in a place other than the cab and the cars swaying puts good realism to the ride.

    Yeah. I underdtand simplified physics for AI trains in general, but if you are on a AI train on foot or as a passenger, then it could really change to proper physics or at least working sway.

    In terms of adding physics for all ai, there simply isn't enough memory as stated by dtg. Simulating physics through simugraph for one single train takes up lots of memory. So it's only in the train you're driving. It would be nice just for the train you're in whether you're driving it or a passenger for it. But simulating it for all of ai is very taxing and not even a powerful pc would be able to cope

    It would be nice if the train you are travelling in had more realistic physics. I wouldn't expect every AI train to have so, though.

    I suspect the problem is that the AI is currently not capable of operating fully simulated trains.

    It used to be on all the time, obviously they had to optimize - but riding as a passenger there must be some work around.
