As TSW-4 will mark the new generation for train sim world added will only be on next generation consoles and the PC starting with TSW4 probably in 2024 what new routes features? Full disclaimer TSW had the yet to be announced has not come out yet and I want to speculate what could be possible when the time comes in 2024?
For a German base game route make that Duisburg Oberhausen Arnhem Utrecht 156km UK Calder Valley Line US NJ Transit Raritan Valley Line Collectors Edition Bremen Oldenburg extended to the Netherlands as Bremen Oldenburg Leer Bad Nieuschans Groningen Germany Netherlands US NYC Network this includes Queens Blvd Line and LIRR Babylon Branch UK Birmingham Network Austria OBB SFS Wien Salzburg gives OBB locomotives for use on German routes Australia Perth Mandurah Line
Questions of improvement: If DTG wanted to improve creators club/ livery designer and expand the training center. What was those improvements be?
More steam locos and routes. Big Boys and Challengers (as well as 4-12-2s) on Sherman Hill, anyone? Also SP Cab Forwards, several PRR steam locos (including K4, T1, J1, H10, B6sb, S2, Q1, Q2, I1, L1, M1a/b, etc.), NYC, B&O, DM&IR, and of course, my favorite railroad, ATSF. I want ATSF 4-8-4s and 2-10-4s on either Cajon, Seligman Sub, or Raton Pass.
Maybe they master mergers and the routes that can be merged are merged and have a new timetable. Massive and very ambitious for sure but one can dream lol
I really hope TSW4 is a free up date. We should not have to pay each time a new TSW comes out. TSC has had free updates for the last few years.
I agree I don't like the idea of having to pay for a new TSW game when it should be like a major update to bring us into a new era for TSW 4
I agree! It outrageous we have to pay for something new. Not only do DTG expect me to pay when they release a new game with updates but the local shop keeper expects me to pay when I get a new bottle of milk and to make it worse it is the exact same bottle as the last one: what is the world coming to? WARNING: There may be large traces of sarcasm above!
I'd like a London Underground base game for TSW 4 1. District Line using D - Stock and C - Stock Routes Wimbledon to Edgware Road with C - Stock and Wimbledon to Tower Hill with D - Stock 2. Metropolitan Line using A - 60 stock Algate to Uxbridge and the Watford branch 3. Central line using 1959 and 62 stock West Ruislip to Loughton and Ealing Broadway to Epping. Central line is part deep level but District Line and Metropolitan Line are subsurface lines
for the livery designer: more logos, more shapes, more fonts, ability to assign a livery to a specific loco/unit (or more), ability to write something out with a keyboard rather than being fiddly with letters, ability to create your own shapes/assets which could be saved and used on multiple trains rather than creating a new one each time. all of these would be amazing to have and i’m sure many would agree
Sorry to upset you all, but ther will ever never be an TSW4. DTG must first fix all issues with TSW2 and 3. And I think honestly they have "no spirit left"...
Sometimes there has to come a time when they have to switch to next generation it's all about the future
Well, there is a "next generation" every month in the PC-world... Just to "re-brand" the product, with a new flashy number, doesn't solve the core problems.
I don't know if they'll keep TSW on gen 8 console All the other games I've seen announced for Xbox are going full steam ahead on next generation
If they just continue with TSW on the PC then console players wouldn't be happy they would have to keep console players happy too
a new TSW game usually comes out every 2 or so years, so if TSW4 comes it may be mid/late 2024 or 2025. I very much doubt that TSW4 would happen as I don't really know what TSW4 would need to beat TSW3 and also I don't really think we need a new TSW game every couple of years. Just doesn't seem right at this point as we have 3 versions of basically the same game.
Actually seeing real cows in the game on SOS, instead of just "hearing them along the line"? A scenario creator worth the name, where you can select your own paths and place static waggons/consists along the side tracks/spurs? That could be a feature of TSW4...
I don't mind German routes just not my number 1 choice. I was born in London so obviously the London Underground is close to home for me
ok then and for TSW 4 the German Route should be international towards the Netherlands that's why I had Duisburg Oberhausen Utrecht and Bremen Oldenburg Leer Groningen as the German base game routes. US RVL or LIRR Babylon Branch Deluxe Edition Queens Blvd Line
