After a couple weeks playing in Livery Designer here are some things I am working on. FYI - DMCX and PROVISIONAL are two freelance Leasing Company (Locos & Railcars) that I also model in HO scale. DMCX is part of RDK Railcar Refurbishing & Rebuilding. They are both available in the Creator's Club for download along with my two Mad Max locos posted elsewhere. I hope you enjoy these first attempts at custom liveries, and please feel free to add your own North American reskins (Canada, USA, Mexico... Real or Custom) so they can be found in one thread.
And another DMCX ... this time a patched and weathered 1970s BCR lightning bolt. Many hours went into this one and it is still being tweaked. 777 follows BCR numbering for the SD40-2 series but was never used. Also available in Creator's Club.
And this is my most recent loco in progress... not yet available in Creator's Club but should be this weekend. Ex NAR (they never had SD40-2s but they did have SD38-2s so this is a bit of a tribute rather than a replica) patched to CN after the buy-out in 1980. The number is in line with CN SD40-2 numbering, but unused.
And the Mad Max Tribute locos just so they're here with the others. Also available in CC. Yellow Interceptor...
Found a photo of an NAR SD38-2 patched to CN so updated our livery design to reflect the appropriate paint out. It will be going into the HUB this afternoon after a few more tweaks.
The proper version now... uploaded this morning. NAR named all their locomotives after prominent people. This one is named for my dad who was a huge NAR fan and took me to the diesel yard many times as a kid to railfan the locos.
Can't let Alberta have the whole spotlight, so here is a Britch Columbia Railway SD40-2... Also available in the HUB.
