The current scenario planner is *alright* however you don't get as much freedom as you want. I have seen many players mention this. There are limited places you can go and you can't depart on some platforms you would like too and if you can, they take you to somewhere you don't want to go.

Starting off with a template of the current timetable in game. You would only have one copy of those timetable as storage on some devices may struggle.

You could make it so you could alter most factors of the scenario. Starting from changing the loco and livery running the service to the time and platform it would run out of.

It would also have the option to add up to a certain amount of services on top of the pre existing ones. When planning the routes, have it so you can select where you want to go and what platform to go into on. If there is already a loco on the platform the ETA, have it blocked off so the player can't get stuck at a red signal. Also, don't apply this to just stations. Make use of the depots. For example, on the west Cornwall local, have it so we can move a castle set into Longrock for the night and then have it so it comes out the next morning.

The more technical parts of this is when you already have a loco on the platform. That's why the player could have it run the same loco on different services, be it if in the right place.

Another cool option would be to have free roam at the end (like on the normal timetable). I hate completing services on scenario planner to then have them quit me to the main menu, I want to explorer and do other services.

Might have gone a bit to into detail however this would significantly increase the use of scenario planner without people having to glitch through red signals to do the bits they have been wanting too.

Hope I have covered everything but feel free to add on...

TBH, both scenario planner and the livery designer have been due an overhaul since released nearly 3 years ago and for a while the roadmap showed that DTG were working on a Scenario Planner 2.0 and a Livery Designer 2.0 before both were terminated. I think suggesting an update for the SP is good idea.
