The Isle Of Wight Steam Railway is a Preserved Railway in Southern England (IOW). the length is around 5 Miles. The line runs between Wootton and Smallbrook Junction passing Havenstreet the headquarters and a holt Ashey. The railway Started in 1971 after the big move from Newport before the line was removed, the big move happened on 24th January 1971 the Wight loco society had only one loco W24 Calbourne and what was left of the Ryde par tram and a selection of rolling stock. steam locomotives: W24 Calbourne (Adams o2 tank) Running W11 Newport (A1X Terrier) out for her overhaul W8 Freshwater (A1X Terrier) Undergoing overhaul 41298 and 41313 (Ivatt tank) 41298 is now out for her overhaul, 313 in Running 198 Ryal Engineer (HUNSLET AUSTERITY) Running 192 Waggoner (Hunslet Austerity) Running W37 Invincible (HAWTHORN LESLIE) Awaiting Overhaul (Delayed due to covid) W2 Yarmouth (E1) New boiler on way Diesel Locos: Class 05 clear Fred (Working but mostly on display in Train story) Class 03 D2059 Edward (Working as Shunter, thunderbird locomotive, can run on passenger trains BARCLAY SHUNTER NO 235 (working as shunter can run on winter maintenance trains) Ryde Per tram car (One car at current) (pacer a name I gave it)
Timetable: Red and Blue. Red is two trains. Blue is one train. Both to give more trips. one trip tacks around 1 hour. Scenarios: Steam Show, D2059 rescue, getting ready for the running season interdiction to the line, Last train from Newport.
I love this idea. Especially if you include the preserved Class 03 and 05 shunters that currently reside there. These ,if created with appropriate livery variations, could be layered on to the original Isle of Wight route by Rivet Games. I think it is high time that we had some types that have more flexibility in terms of layering onto other routes in order to better populate them as many routes have types that have very limited use elsewhere.
Are you trying to bring in another train Sim Classic route into the game if so that would explain why they are popular right now
OK then and my suggestion Österreich Bundesbahn Schnellfahrstrecke Wien Sankt Pölten Linz Salzburg Westbahn is a TSC route that can be made in game. For IOW Steam these are the Southern Region based. Here's a British Ace Stream with IOW Steam railway
Its a bit like the EKR (East Kent Railway) which was in Train Simulator Classic. I reckon EKR would be a good route for TSW3 but yeah good idea.
