I really don’t care about getting action points, I’m playing the game for the experience of driving trains and certainly not get a medal every time I finish a service/scenario. I would much rather just have a tick so I know what I’ve done and what I haven’t. I know I can just could just ignore it but as someone with OCD it annoys me that I see sliver/bronze/gold medals mixed around where I wish it was all just the same. very petty I know but I would love a way to just turn it off.
Good idea as it sometimes has problems when your doing a service and you are going over the speed limit or under and it gives you points so it would be great if you could turn it off.
Practically every British route has many services and scenarios that STILL have an unachievable score threshold. I can't say if this is the case for other nations routes but it certainly requires that DTG and other partners investigate each service/scenario to find those that need alteration. Hopefully they can do this before too many new routes are added which will only complicate matters.
Mixed views on this as it’s the closest thing we have to a career mode. But when you can do a couple of runs on Bakerloo and it nukes itself in as your most favourite route and train, something is very wrong with the implementation.
Same here. I like it playing the game just for the experience and because I like trains! It would be cool to have an option to have a career mode and progression in the game?.
At least you can turn off the HUD. Ctrl+6 on PC. No idea what's the right buttons for consoles, but I imagine they have the feature too.
