The Acela looks amazing. I’m glad Rivet acknowledged that the sounds are atrocious and are thinking about recording real audio of the trains but the big question for me is: yeah the add on manager is at the end is in sight but it’s been month we had that information so could you give us at least and estimation? We the PS5 players are tired of playing Tetris with every release

And to no one's surprise, there's no movement on bug fixes, manual firing, or the TSW2 updates.

Wow, wow, wow! Rivet really did take on all the feedback, fantastic!

Timetabling was a big deal for me, anything else was a bonus!

    Fantastic news!

Bugs in the edinburgh glasgow route are being fixed. Stuff are being improved, other issues are much larger such as red lights and stuff so still being worked on.

Sherman Hill stuff looks superb! Nice it got a little scenery upgrade, and it looks really good!

Hopefully Rivet's fixes will fix the route a bit, there are some big bugs/things that aren't that good that should be fixed! Mainly sounds ofcourse but they're working on that! :D

The add on manager has a release date (finally!), but they can't tell us what that is.
NOTE: I probably shouldn't care about it, since I don't play on Playstation, but I'm interested in how DTG communicates with the players, regardless of subject.

Nice to hear that Rivet are working on improvements for the Glasgow - Edinburgh route. The Acela Express looks superb. Looking forward to taking it for a drive when it is released. :)

The proof will be in the pudding of course but I'm impressed by the pretty comprehensive proposed fixes for Edinburgh-Glasgow which do address virtually all of my concerns about the route. It's been sitting unplayed since not long after release as I couldn't get over the number of issues, but they do all seem to be being addressed so I look forward to sitting down for another run once the patch releases.

Not sure how I feel about the Add-on manager coming to pc, "if it ain't broke don't fix it" comes to mind. Users on pc, to my knowledge, currently have 0 issues of the sort that PlayStation users are experiencing. I'm very worried, in line with every update and new thing, that this change will bring problems, issues and bugs to us pc users where there were none before.

    Rest in peace, zero (00000)
That HST bug will be missed.

And also, Cheyenne Yard from Sherman Hill doesn't look too bad in detail. Guess is better than nothing (except it's nothing without Track 3 however)
But, I'll be looking forward to Peak Forest when the time comes. (and hearing the Steam physics from the stream, nice to hear that's getting worked on beforehand)

Thank you for the Edinburgh to Glasgow improvements, I might just consider buying this route now. Could we get a preview stream/video of the updates perhaps? There's seemingly enough changes to warrant a preview (and encourage some more sales ;)).

Edit: Hopefully the door opening/closing beeping noise can be turned down in volume. From the previous preview stream this was one thing not mentioned in the list of fixes above that stood out to me.

No look at the AI steam sounds on SoS, is this just not do able? Puts me off the Peak route although it looks very nice.

Glad to see the small improvements to Sherman Hill with the scenery around the turntable and the container colors. While I still miss the whole track #3 and the scenery inside the quary, these smaller changes matter too. Sadly no word about the broken in-cab signalling, so I assume that one has not been fixed.

I was also hoping to hear more about the new NEC timetable and layers, whether LIRR or freight layers in or not, etc. Hopefully we hear about those at a later date.

Indeed! But then.....did we expect anything less? Class 166 Reigate to Gatwick still can't be completed in London Commuter along with Powering America part two, as well as a heap of other crap that doesn't work as it should. Too bad if you're heading towards the end of your life and can't be bothered to buy the new thing. So much for all of the promises by Matt Peddleson and others. Lies all lies. Very busy making new routes for more money....that's the main thing now, half arsed additions over customer satisfaction. Could not in my wildest dreams, recommend this game, or this company to anyone.

It got a really small update in tsw3 that added new soundsets, especially the m7. It had already gotten its round of pres crew, but it got another small one and one of the major highlights was improved sound

Even better if it hadn't been offered up and accepted by DTG QA in such a woeful state to start with.

Looking at the screenshots of the Acela and the UP livery pack, I note the same anemic headlights as usual.

I'll see what they look like in game, but it's clear that DTG cannot model US loco headlights.

This is a feature that DTG have no plans to work on apparently.

Again no release date for the addon-manager... Wahat a pity. Was hoping, that it'll be relased before the new US-content. Now it seems that I would have to play addon-tetris once more next week...

The HST reskins look fantastic. Regarding the carriages though, Will we be able to choose what livery they are in and will the game insert downloaded liveries randomly into the routes like they do for the Locos? Also will this eventually carry over to the Mark 2 carriages. Would be nice to see intercity (or NSE or other downloaded liveried) liveried carriages on NTP and WCL.

Surely they are going to fix those! It is ridiculous if not, I thought they might have been fixed in the last update. Very immersion breaking without them.

The Edinburgh-Glasgow patch notes look very solid. Looks like Rivet did indeed implement all the feedback. Hope the annoyingly loud and long door beep sounds have been toned down as well.

Another day, another electric NEC route announced. And yet another hard pass from me. What I would give for a 1950's route in the Heartlands...

Speaking of 1950's, is there any plans whatsoever to create a steam loco for either Germany or the USA? I've already written off the rest of the world. I figured (silly me) that once Spirit of Steam was released that the next two routes would be a steam-US and steam-DE route.

I think until dtg have gotten comfortable with steam locos and make various improvements, it's unlikely we'll see other steam routes and stuff. The purpose of the new uk steam route was to expand on sos and go to step 2 of the process. Dtg are currently improving the firebox scripting which is planning to release either before or on the day the new uk steam route at the moment. So I guess when some things have been improved
