Hi firstly I want you to know my english is not perfect and I am sorry for that. I have suggestion to make Czech route nr. 183 from Klatovy to Železná Ruda Alžbětín. Why I think this is good route for TSW? 1) It lenght is aproximately 50 km, so it is good for TSW standards. 2) It is just part of nr. 183 route (Pilsen - Železná Ruda), but part between Pilsen and Klatovy is electrified, so for nearly every train is this its full route. There are trains from Prague and Pilsen to Železná Ruda, but their locomotive is changed in Klatovy because they need to be diesel for this part. This means that you can play full workday of engine-driver on this section of route. 3) There are diverse types of train - small diesel units and trains with locomotive and 4 wagons. 4) The route itself is very diverse too. There is part between Klatovy - Nýrsko, which is flat and then the track starts to climb into Šumava mountains, where are very beautiful views. It is heavily used by tourists because Šumava mountains are great for cycling and skiing. Operators Trains on this route are operated by České Dráhy (ČD) and sometimes there are rare freight train operated by České Dráhy Cargo (ČDC). Route parameters It is single-track route with 70 - 90 kph speed restriction. It is in good condition with new platforms on most of it. There are 13 stations for passenger and express trains (express trains are stopping on most of its stations). There is video from express train Rolling Stock Trains which are "must have" on this route to be driveable are: 1) ČD 754 which is very popular diesel locomotive in Czechia. On this route it is used for every express train and some passenger services. 2) ČD 814+914 which is not popular (because it is very loud and it drives very rought) diesel unit which is highly used on Czech railways. "Must have" for AI only locomotive is ČD 363 or ČD 242 (both on next picture), one of them for bringing trains from Prague (Pilsen) to Klatovy. Optional trains for this route are: 1) ČD 842 - disel motor unit used for some passenger trains on this route (but it can be substitued by 814+914). (its beauty is in its ugliness) 2) ČDC 742 - Diesel motor engine for freight trains, it can be substitued by ČD 754 in ČDC livery, but it is not needed to have freight trains there, they are rare. 3) Waldbahn RS1 - Železná Ruda Alžbětín is border-station and on germany side are used these DMU, but it is not too needed to be there, because there is only one of them at the time - so it is not good "filler" for this station. Needed wagons are 1) ČD Bmz, ABmz, Bbdgmee for express trains Praha - Železná Ruda 2) ČD Bdtee for some generic Passenger trains on this route. Optional wagons are some freigth one for filling Klatovy station and freight trains (with wood from mountains). Below are some photos from this route (some of them are older). Photos above this are not from route 183 (except one with express train).
Nice and for CZ 754 there should be a batch of them PZB equipped for Dresden Hbf that way Riesa-Dresden get CZ freight services to Bad Schandau from Riesa/Dresden
