With the imminent release of a chunk of US DLC, I think it is high time we receive a few new locomotive DLCs for existing UK routes to help fill the innumerable voids and bring locations more to life as well as expanding our collections. Some examples are...

Class 165/1 and 180 for GWE.
    Class 22, 35, 117/121, 123 and 128 for DLOGW.
    Class 25, 123, 124, 128 and 141 for NTP.
    Class 73 for ECW.
    Class 455 for London Commuter.

There are so many more examples but I feel that any of these would make superb additions based on locations and eras.

I feel that the number of DLCs for some routes has been woeful at best.

I would also like to add to this suggestion with a proposal for a Class 332 with an extension of the Line to Heathrow perhaps

A 56 would fit in nicely on TVL and NTP as well. Brilliant suggestions mate!

Licensing and security issues may still be a problem but awesome suggestion nevertheless.

Class 35 and 42 would be fantastic for WSR, perhaps even come up with a way to do the Class 43 at the same time as the 42 which were almost identical except for different engine and transmission.

That locomotive trades horsepower for tractive force it should do Lickey incline on BCC easily. Think of it as a DB/Press BR155 originally DR BR250 tractive force in a Diesel electric form for the UK.

The Class 55 Deltic could be one.

Class 50 please! Could be used on Diesel Legends of the Great Western, possibly sneak one in to West Cornwall Local, as well as heritage use on the West Somerset and rail tour use on Great Western Express, West Cornwall Local and Birmingham Cross City.

Also good for any future WCML routes.

Hello Iskra1, I agree with that, a 50 would be cool in TSW someday, here's a suggestion on the 50 I did last year:

The British Rail Class 50 For Diesel Legends Of The Great Western

A Deltic would be brilliant mate (I have a soft spot for them as they are one of the first train i remember) but I would like to see it come with a 70s or early 80s ECML route rather than as dlc for an existing one.

Agreed on this. ECML is best for the Deltic.

Despite my intense desire for a Sulzer Type 2 or a Class 50 in the game, I would have to go with the Class 56 - One because we already have a couple of routes to run it on and, Two - when they get wound up on full power they sound freakin' awesome.

Some great suggestions. A 123/124 and 25 for NTP definately to add more variety. If we are going to get more diesel hydraulics I would prefer a new route to run them on to be honest.

A class 455 and a 700 would really finish of London to Brighton.

Steam is needed too, something for local trains on SOS and a shunting/trip engine.

If only DTG did something for UK players they actually wanted eh? I'm all for the 121, it is criminal it is not part of TSW. If they actually did something like this then it would give me a reason to buy TSW3 as it is I do not see an incentive.

Class 170/172 would make BCC more alive, as you could have services running up the fast lines, and AI services in Birmingham New Street.

I'm still trying to figure out why DTG do not do the odd loco to UK routes. Surely it is easier adding a Loco than doing a whole new route? Yes they have to add new services to the route but even so.

Hopefully this thread will be noticed by DTG and some of the above mentioned locos will be considered. We definitely need more on existing routes.

The Class 800 should be in Tsw by now it’s literally the standardised intercity train in the uk
