Hi everyone, sorry if the answer already posted but i haven't found them. I have a new computer from this week, i purchase TSW3 and install it on a fresh Windows install. In profile menu i don't see the Import button so in can't import my TSW2 progression. Name profil is different such as requested, is it because TSW2 is not installed on my new computer ? If it is can migrate manually ? Or must i install again TSW3 on my old for execute the transfer ? Thanks for your help and answer.
In Documents > My Games You should see this TSW2 does not need to be installed, but the folder called TrainSimWorld2 does (because that holds your profile). I'm quite certain people had the issue where the button didn't show up before, let me try and find it.
Ok I did some digging, and it turns out that if your current TSW3 profile has the same name as your TSW2 profile, it will not import. For most people deleting that TSW3 profile allowed them to import their TSW2 profile. EDIT: Ah, you said it has a different name... I think if that folder (which is in the above post) is not present, then you cannot import on that machine. If you still have the TrainSimWorld2 folder in your old machine, you can transfer it to the appropriate location in your new computer, import the profile, then delete the TrainSimWorld2 folder once it is done.
