As we all know, the new American accessories come out on the 21st and I was wondering if there would be the usual 10% discount. Currently not available for pre-order separately, a bit strange.
There's a preorder discount for the acela if you buy it through the bundles. But it won't outside of that I believe.
There is no pre-ordering on consoles, hence no pre-order discount. However, the usual subscription discounts will be available post launch. For XBox, there's 10% off with GamePass. I'm not familiar with PlayStation, but there might be something similar on PS Plus.
My comments are meant for Steam purchases for PC only. At this time, there is no option to individually pre-purchase the Amtrak Acela, NEC- New York to Trenton Route, UP Heritage Collection. No pre-release discount or even full price pre-order. At least not individually. Acela $22.99, Trenton $39.99, Heritage $14.99 are release date pricing. All three of the new items together would be $77.97. You can buy the passenger bundle that includes the Acela and NEC Trenton route for $53.99, a savings of $8.99. That is the only package that gives a discount involving just new DLC that is cheaper than individual full pricing. Of course, if you need additional DLC other than the three newest items, then you could see more savings in many of the packages.
I believe the Game Pass discount is planned in, but it can sometimes take a little while to add, as it's done on Microsoft's end post-release. Ha, this is my Admin account, will switch over in a sec.
On PlayStation they might be a 10% off as that happened earlier on some DLCs but it’s a “surprise” we can’t know in advance if that’ll be the case EDIT: for PS+ owners of course
I have always been curious about whether it is Sony or DTG who decides whether such a discount is available and why sometimes it is and sometimes it is not.
Always Sony otherwise Xbox players would’ve the same amount of discount as PlayStation players if DTG decided for the discounts
