This is a thread where you can share anything interesting spotted in the superb timetable by Joe Burgees for South Eastern High Speed Extended.
I would appreciate it if you were to not include 66 services unless they are out of the ordinary. E.G an AI convoy or a coaching stock move.
It would also be helpful to know the date and time because some services will only operate during certain times of the year

BR 403 at St Pancras International (ignore the 66, I put that there) the 403 does a run from Ashford and back during October, I believe it passes you when driving the Charity Javelin Part 2

I knew about the ICE, but didn’t realize Joe added so many other easter egg services. Amazing!

I don’t have a photo of proof, but I remember seeing a jubilee charter outside STP in the nighttime…

Do you remember anything about the month you were in and a rough time?
    Thanks

For those that don't know, you can sometimes see a southern 377 with a southeastern 375, I just so happened to see it as a 66 was passing Ashford at 6:55 AM, the 377 won't always appear all of the time but can be seen at any station 375's go to

That happens irl iirc, Southeastern bought some ex-SOU 377's and one of them is still in the Southern livery.

Oh did they buy them? I thought they just borrowed 2 because Southern once borrowed two 375s.

Southeastern previously leased two late-build 377/1s, similar but not exactly the /4 in the photo, although I'm not sure if the /1 subclass seen on London to Brighton can spawn. Anyway, these units were in full Southern livery although by the end had some very minimal Southeastern branding applied internally and externally. However, both units have been returned to Southern now, as will half the 377/5 fleet in the near future.

Class 66 pulling MK1 brake coaches outside St Pancras at 20:37, if you wait a few mins after the train has passed, you will see a container train

Top and tail 37's with mk2 coaches at St Pancras International in June, a few minutes later you can see a Jubilee with 1 mk1 coach reversing outside St Pancras, I would spawn in at St Pancras and go into the external cam from a 395 to see the action

Top and tail class 45's at St Pancras, I spotted them in June arriving before 9:40, they leave at 9:50 just as a freight passes outside

    So many.

Never seen the ICE before. What route do you need for it to appear?

So I knew about Thameslink 700 going to the Core tunnels but didn't know about AI trains going to King's Cross. This was at 05:20 am. one train going and another haeding from King's Cross :) 20230711170753_1.jpg 20230711170902_1.jpg 20230711170902_1.jpg

Im trying to get the AI Thameslink service patterns. notice from 5am to 6am saw 13 trains,11 went and came from King's Cross, the other 2 went into the core tunnels. I started checking the 7am to 8am but didn't get to finished and it was the opposite, mostly all went and came from core tunnels

True but I've seen more crazier. Once I seen 5 GBRf 66's on their way to westbury with only a few wagons I think.

On US railroads you can often see as many as 10 locos on the front, and (I assume) the majority are 'dead', but in the US they're reluctant to use light engine moves if they can put them into a revenue earning service.
