Soooo… first of all: I know that it is possible to use joysticks and throttles. The thing is: There are no like “levers” other than the ones for the flight simulators. It is possible to use them, but I would like to use only the throttles! To clear things up: I play with the Epic games version. Now there are two questions: 1. is it possible to use more than one throttle? E.g. three at the same time? (One for AFB, one for power, one for the brakes) 2. Are there other possibilities to build a drivers desk that looks nice but doesn’t cost 63992639274839293€? I would appreciate every experience some of ya’ll might have had with throttles and so on Cheers!
Unlike cars, where a wheel and pedals will allow you to drive anything, from karts to race cars to trucks, the trains are incredibly different. Even if you carefully create levers and code the interface with the game (which is far from easy, just ask CobraOne), the result might work well with one train, but not with all the others. Various trains have various types of levers, and the differences are massive. Does the lever have notches? Does it go from 0 to 1 or from -10 to +4 or maybe from -4 to +4 and so on and so forth. The raildriver is probably the best there is, but even that has a lot of quirks and it won't match every train in the game.
