    A patch was announced for the new US content- but acc to Steam, there is no pending update.

    if i read patch notes correctly they are with the release of the dlc

    you need to read better i figure with the release means with the release of the dlc
    Steam users will recieve this update with the release, and for all other platforms (Epic, PS5 and Xbox) these changes are now live, so be sure to check for an update.

    Patch was for console only (Day1 patch that needed a little longer to get through certification). The patch contents were already available on Steam.
