    Hi,

I have a strange situation with the ALP loco... I have no speed or signal change and out of the blue the loco gives a penalty brake with in the hud a red 79... I had no possibility to reset this penalty brake...

    What i have tested was....
    - wait for the final stop
    - brake in emergency and and reset the brakes
    - turn off all systems

no result evertime i turn on the safety systems it comes back... no reset posible.... The display says penalty and I can not reset this via the spacebar on my keyboard

What do i wrong? Or is this a bug?

I had this happen to me too.
Where did it occur for you? And what service?

Mine was on the 3720 service from Jersey Ave to Penn. Right before Metuchen

Also, did it happen on multiple services or just that one?

For me its service 3165 2 miles before Linden.
The best work around is to turn off the ACSES until the next station and setup again and go further.

This happened to me in the 3917 service from New York Penn to Trenton between North Elizabeth and Elizabeth stations. 79 is now showing up on the HUD and the screen says train stop penalty. No matter what I do, the train is now stuck with it constantly beeping.

DTG JD I was about to make a separate thread, but since we have your attention I'll just drop it here.

Had the same thing happen on NJT 3712 with the cab car. This time I was stopped at Metuchen and it gave me an unrecoverable train stop penalty while I was loading passengers.
Tried turning off ACSES until the next station and that is a successful workaround. But there's definitely a bug somewhere in the NJT safety systems.

Thanks for forwarding it to the team!

Apparently DTG Matt is burning the midnight oil too - he’s confirmed this is fixed in the next patch :)

That and plenty more besides, just got done going through testing the first tranche of improvements.

More to go (i'm testing in dev builds just to make sure it's worth building to a release candiadate etc so don't read this as anything more than great progress is being made at this point :) )

    Matt.

DTG Matt Understood. It strikes me as pretty important so I know it'll get addressed one way or another.
Really enjoying the route BTW. Woke up itching to play it. Thankfully I'm on my days off from work

tested Acela, that one works fine, even though sometimes the "overspeed" thing on a screen is still present, even though I am not overspeeding anymore

didnt test ACS64, but as for ALP46, havent managed to finish the route with that one yet... apart from the sudden speed changes and at some points the acknowledge button barely working, at one point it hadnt even showed me a speed change before applying train stop penalty... from which I wasnt able to recover - tried reverser isolation, putting pantograph down and back up and such, nothing worked... and since I didnt want to continue without safety systems, that was essentially game over at that point

great route, but unless the signalling issues and the acknowledge button issue in alp46 get resolved, I guess I will only do this route with Acela, maybe will try ACS64 and hope that I dont encounter similar issues as other guys

sorry for delayed feedback, but I havent had access to my PC for over a month till now (recovering from a work injury at a different place)
