    Ha ha. The next thing could be a post-Beeching branch line- a scenic mat too rough to put track on and a few footpath signs.

    You know what you guys in the UK need, trains that run... in Australia (victoria) not only do our trains run xmas day and my mum used it to come to see me, they are free... when I was in the UK last year there was no trains on xmas or boxing day, pretty annoying when you have divorced family to get around

    There are only three days a year when the entire network shuts down, and for me I think of the people who don't have to work those days and be thankful for their sake.
    Convenience for you means hundreds of people not having a good christmas...
