If like me, you’re excited for the upcoming MML Leicester to Derby and Nottingham route, then I’d like to hear what other people think is a must have on the route. I’m not talking about loco dlc, but more things which can’t be missed off, i.e. the power station right next to East Midlands Parkway station. I really hope it looks similar to the actual power station and not a cheap and generic power station. Also, I hope the Brush factory next to Loughborough station is well represented, a family member worked there so it would be great to see it as real as Skyhook possibly can. I’ve inserted a video from Don Coffey, the train it’s recorded on was a Class 222 St Pancras to Derby, you can find the Leicester to Derby section from 1:05:00 onwards.. The second video is again from Don Coffey which is a Class 222 from Derby to Lincoln via Nottingham and back to Nottingham.
Pride Park Stadium and the Network Rail RTC. Right next to Derby station so you might think its obvious but you never know with TSW.
Something which is vital and mustn’t be misssssed are the railway tracks themselves then we worry about power stations and Brush!
Reliable spot on audio and graphics is a MUST no over promising and under delivery would be a refreshing change
The rail leasing depot outside Leicester station. That always has old BR locos there. Heck! Even putting the rolling stock from TVL and NTP will fill out the sidings quite nicely! For now…
Rusty rails Dresden night lighting Rush hour passenger. Track sounds Cab ambient noise Other trains layering in to create a vibrant timetable, living world NPC along route outside station to make route non sterile I think this should be a thread on skyhook- sean radar potentially (hoping I've tagged correct person)
I have shared this one before but I am going to most interested to see how the Network Rail RTC is going to be represented and what, if any, rolling stock will populate it. Potential for a NMT DLC?
Defintely looking forward to this one. Hopefully Toton yard will be in? Hopefully the signalling will be accurate, notably approach control, as I think there's quite a lot of it in this area. Should be standard on all routes now, but I believe it may be missing in the most recent route (Edi/Glas)? Don't have the route personally, but I've been told it hasn't been implemented? Also it's about time we got some decent speed signage for UK rail routes, in particular the correct font.
I really hope Toton is included too. It will add possibilities for freight layers and future loco DLC that will improve the longevity and overall enjoyment of the route.
