If I hadn't already uninstalled the route from TSW3 I'd go and give it a look. I can however go right now and get a comparison shot of it in TSW2
As an aside, this TSW2 comparison shows off my biggest issue with the TOD4 system, which is specularity. Try as I might in TSW2 I cannot recreate the effect of the "shiny" mortar between the bricks seen in the TSW3 shots at certain angles. Certain things are just super reflective in the updated lighting that really ought not to be. My guess being that their properties were set up for the old lighting system and never updated to reflect (no pun intended) the increased brightness.
Yeah, that is something I have also noticed. Though in your picture, this brick wall does not look that bad, but it depends on if it is supposed to be reflective in the first place or not? But in the topic of specualiry, what really bugs me is the shininess of the terrain and track ballast when driving towards the sun. Looks very unnatural and ugly. In comparison, it looks much natural and better with the sun behind the player. With a route recieving TOD4 update, one would expect a proper overhaul with revisited brightness and specularity values for these assets. Boston Sprinter with TOD4 is full of issues.
