I purchased AP sky and weather. I can't get lightning!!! The thunder works fine and so does the rain. Can anyone help me please? Thank you all!
RTFM it's all explained in there. Seriously though why on earth would you buy the current one when the 2.0 is literally about to drop any day now?

You just bought it when version 2 is about to be released? Ouch.... still, there will be a small discount to upgrade, so not too much of an ouch hopefully. There is only forked lightning on purpose built scenarios by AP, and it's not a feature you can add to your own scenarios. However, you can have sheet lightning... flashes etc. You can see the type of thunder you can inlclude yourself at the start of this video.
Actually, if, and it is a big if, you know what you are doing, you CAN have forked lightning in your own scenarios. It was just out of scope for AP to explain in the manual as it requires extensive knowledge of the blueprint editor etc and probably would have added 20+ pages!

Not sure what's ambiguous. You do have thunder and lightning, and you do have forked lightning like on the cover, but the forked lightning is just on AP made scenarios. It says quite clearly on the website, in italics....
