It seems to work. I now have all the routes I want that I have installed as well as the loco add-ons.
Update: Works like a charm everything is downloaded and everything shows up. It mounts all available dlc (locos) for the route you choose, overall gameplay is unaffected as of what I've seen so far

Tbh I never really experienced any performance issues when I play other than the odd crash every now and then which wasn't even frequent to begin with. I would get a crash like once every month or so and I play everyday or every other day.
Update : eveeything seems to work fine, except mastery. When you go to the configure overlays tile only training center is showing as a route, nothing else. I figured that due to the new mounting system mastery rewards would show automaticaly, so I tried it on a route I achieved mastery on just yesterday and I had not enabled the overlay yet. Unfortunately, no Canadian flags on Oakville Subdivision.
Took some time to download everything again. But everything is working okay. So far so good. Mastery overlays are indeed missing. Configure overlays is empty.
It takes a while for the initial load up from the PS5 menu, maybe 2-3 minutes. It also takes a bit longer to load the main menu after completing a scenario, maybe 45-60 seconds, but apart from that it's works great. These are minor issues to cope with to have all the stuff we've paid for. If it matters I have all dlc so about 179gb total. Maybe it takes longer to load to the main menu the more dlc you have. It'd be interesting to find out.
Since it’s relevant here as well, I’ll copy my post from the DTG live discussion page: I found one more issue. The Acela scenarios on Boston Sprinter (yes, I caved and got the Acela to celebrate) don’t show up in Boston’s scenario list for me. I can still access them if I select the Acela first and then look for available scenarios but it’s strange that they’re not on Boston’s scenario list. Can anyone reproduce this?
I have the same issue with the Acela’s scenarios. And whilst they’re visible searching by loco, nothing happens when selecting ‘Get Started’.
Still downloading lots of content (should have started it yesterday night...), but I can give some feedback already: It seems to work as it should, everything downloaded shows up and is playable after restarting the game. Didn't sense any gameplay issues so far. Just one thing concerning the menu: I am playing in German and nearly all submenues are in English since the installation of the update (just as it was after the release of the addons-manager for TSW2). Its no big deal for me, but it should be mentioned as feedback here.
My mastery rewards are missing to can’t enable them on any route since the add on manager update.. plz DTG fix this
I can't get subscribed CC liveries to work after the update. I have logged out, logged in, unsubscribed and resubscribed but still no luck. Cheers
Yeah looks good to me I haven't had any problems I'm just happy to be able to download all my DLC again and not have to play Tetris
There are some contents I can’t install. It keep giving me the error code ce-107880-4. I have tried to restore license but nothing helps. Hope some can help me.
Try rebooting your console and verify you have enough free space on your console. You can also install DLC using the PS App, and that might work. Doesn't look like this is caused by Addon Manager.
Thanks for the feedback everyone - we've logged the Acela/UP/Trenton Scenario issue (I imagine this was because some of the later testing hadn't accounted for the release last week and was happening in parallel), Mastery, and some Spanish-language mistranslation. Glad that, for the majority, everything seems to be in order! Could you let me know what you're seeing please? Is it the spinning wheel of doom when you try to download, or are they just not appearing?
Perfect timing, two days after I got an x box and all the English routes. But at least I have all the German content in one place and it seems to work wonderfully. Thank you DTG for all the hard work involved.
Deep down in the guts, encrypted and encoded, of the TSW core software, I´d suspect. I don´t think you can actually find this anywhere.
Yes I was getting the spinning wheel then I logged out and in again and they did subscribe, but failed to show. I'm wondering now if its because they were Acela liveries and there's a problem already with the Acela. I'm at work now but wonder if someone else can see if it works with other units and liveries. Apart from that though a resounding success so far. Loving having all the content in one place.
You don’t. It’s not a feature that players can use. It’s just a change in computer code and makes no difference to how players use TSW.
One thing i noticed is that the Cab Car of the Baby Bullet on Peninsula Corridor is now missing. Before the Update it was showing up in the Loco Section. Hope its coming back with all its services in the Future.
This is a known issue, and is something we're working on fixing (not related to Add-ons Manager though).

Hi guys was installing all my add ons after the add-ons manager was released but there are a few dlc that won’t install because “something went wrong” ce-107880-4 I have tried - restore license - clear cache - restore database - delete TSW3 base game and reinstalled it - download the 5 dlcs from the PS app but then it’s the ps4 version it download It’s strange because my 30+ dlcs was downloaded without any problems but there are 5 dlcs where is keep giving a error code ce-107880-4 and had no problems download them before the add-on manager was release Does anyone have a clue what is going on?
Raise a ticket with DTG and see what they say. From what I could find online, if the things you already did don’t help, you likely won’t be able to fix it on your end. Might also be a good idea to get in touch with Sony then, but I never had to do that so I can’t help there.
If you have more than one drive, the addons may be installing somewhere you are not expecting. I had assumed they would go to the drive where the main game was installed, but no they go to the place chosen in the defaults. You can't move them individually either, you have to move the whole lot to another drive and back again to get them all together. Not DTG's fault but Sony's.
I’ve had that error come up with Sony downloads before. Especially when I’m redownloading something I deleted recently. The only thing that seems to work is wait 24 hours and then try downloading it.
Well done DTG in sorting this! All my add-ins are back and I personally see an improvement in graphics.., last time I played TSW3 (October) there was a stutter for around a second every minute, seems smoother now, and the detail seems to draw in a lot further away.., last time I played it seemed like the PS5 was drawing in sleepers around five feet in front of the train! All looking good. Probably not related but the firing tutorial on Spirit of Steam was a bit mad yesterday, with valves and injectors showing as being under the drivers seat!
I've been getting the following error CE-108255-1 when trying to do the 5th training mission on Southeastern High Speed. I've done all the suggested fixes such as, reinstall the game, rebuild database and reset the PS5. I never had this problem prior to the Add On Manager.
