    These interview articles on DLC are really neat. Would be cool if we could get more of them. The 1960s was a good choice of era for this route in my opinion, since it was the final decade of the New York Central; and even though I can't tell in the screenshots in this article, I hope this means that all of the automobiles on the route will be pre-1970, so that could mean that what I brought up in the last article of this route has been fixed since, which is a good thing.

    Very cool that Jim received a Lionel train for Christmas in 1955. I too was raised with Lionel trains, and received them as Christmas gifts in my childhood. However, Lionel never made Alco PAs in the postwar era. They made Alco FAs though, and that type of locomotive is included with this route, but by 1955, Lionel only made models them in Union Pacific, Erie and Rock Island liveries.
